“Dexters is the best! I came in last Monday right after they opened, and shortly after a very large group swarmed the bar. Mariah and Vivian seemed to handle this large group with ease while still paying attention to their other bar guests. Highly recommended the elote burger and a cocktail of the moment!“

“This inconspicuous little spot impressed me! It has a huge menu full of food that I have found to be shockingly delicious. Massive wings! Both smash burgers and 1/2 lb burgers. Sunfish sliders?! Yes, and they’re great. I don’t know who’s running the kitchen, but they’re very good at it!
A solid array of taps, friendly bartenders, a cozy space with sports on the screens, smiling patrons… Tonight the place was full yet my waitress (Hailey, I believe) hustled nonstop so that there was never a delay in drinks, food, or checking out. Super impressive, and super enjoyable. (Repeat: the food is way above average!)“

“This is one of our favorite places, we make sure to come every month for the bloody of the month. Today I had the breakfast tacos and old fashion, amazing food and drinks. “We dined in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, so staffing was low. The restaurant became very busy suddenly and the manager staff jumped right in to assist the staff without missing a beat. Nice job doing what was necessary to make a good experience for everyone!“

“Do not sleep on the broasted chicken. It is beyond me how a local spot like this can make chicken of this caliber. Its the best chicken you may ever have, and the price is unreal. But everything is delicious here. Love this spot. The staff are so welcoming too. Some of the best and friendly bartenders and servers ive met.... you will probably want to return often. “If bumper cars and lacrosse had a wild, adrenaline-fueled baby, it would be WhirleyBall—and Maple Grove delivers it perfectly! From the second we hopped into those little buggies, it was non-stop bumping, spinning, laughing, and the occasional “wait, where’d the ball go?!” moment. The staff was awesome—super friendly, quick with instructions, and clearly just as excited as we were to watch the chaos unfold. The court was clean, well-lit, and big enough for plenty of action without feeling cramped. Whether you’re a first-timer (like a few of us Googling “what is WhirleyBall” in the parking lot) or a seasoned scoop-handling pro, it’s impossible not to have fun here. By the end, we were sweaty, laughing, and already planning the rematch. “This the hippest little sports bar you’ll find in the Twin Cities, right in the heart of Uptown in the former, iconic Shorty & Wags space (if you know, you know). Come for the holy trilogy of bardom: beer, sports & wings. The sports paraphernalia decor is outstanding, with no shortage of nostalgia. I’d recommend catching a Vikings game sometime,as they really get into it - playing amped up songs during commercial breaks, doling out purple hooter shots for touchdowns, and doing sing-a-longs to the Viking fight song. This place is a serious Uptown vibe.“

“This is by far the nicest Sportsbar/pool hall I have ever been in. Super good food and the place is unbelievably clean. Owner Jerry and staff were super friendly and I got the meet Litte Joe Villalpondo while I was there. Thanks Jerry, it was fun.“

“I actually have done the curbside pickup the last couple of times and they are very fast! Before I could get my phone out to go on the App and let them know I was here , they were already coming out either way my food.
Vegetarian options: They are always very accommodating, if you want to add or take something off of your sandwich/entree , etc
Kid-friendliness: It’s fine for kids however the dining room seating is around the bar so you’re never far from it. But I’ve never seen people for instance getting hammered watching a ball game and getting loud with the profanity or anything .
Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables that would be wheel chair account not the whole dining room is .“
