Great food and service as always! Quinn was a fabulous waiter. We had a great 20th anniversary celebration.

Food and service are always top notch! You can't beat a Grand View experience probably the best in Nisswa area!

The total experience was very good. Our server was delightful, and the food good. Our hesitation and probably the reason we won't return for awhile, is that the cost was very high. For 3 of us, including tip, we spent over $240. We all thought that was high.

Loved the experience at Char! Sven was a fantastic server!! We will be back as it is our new favorite.

Your food was excellent, delicious and served hot as it should be. Your cocktail service was a little slow it might be because they servers need to go downstairs to that bar to get their cocktails Our waitress was very good.

Food was fantastic. Daughter has celiac ns they made sure everything was safe for her. Our server was fantastic.

Wow were we disappointed. Char falls far short of our Grand View Lodge expectations. Steaks were salty, ribeye full of fat not marbling as expected. Popovers were so hard I had to ask for a new batch. Even broccolini was strangely seasoned. We did not expect large portions but sizes were noticeably skimpy. Wine by the glass comes in two sizes, but I was “upsold” the larger size which I did not want. We ordered a bottle of wine as well, and our waiter recommended two options at double the price. At least 20% overpriced overall. Do NOT go until this place fixes things.

Lovely, dinner with friends celebrating our 42nd anniversary. Our server was delightful, she has been at Char for several years and we love her! Our food was delicious, the salads are quite generous, 3 had the walleye and ate every bit, the salmon was very good though I was not a fam of the leek stalks, and the prime rib and steak received rave reviews! An experience we may repeat on our 43rd anniversary!

Service and ambiance was great. For the price the food was just OK. We ordered medium rare and received something between medium and medium well. We enjoyed CRU much better.

The Steak Oscar was excellent. Can cut the Filet with a butter knife. Loved the garlic mashed potatoes. We will be back for sure.

Excellent meal. We started with the brussell sprouts appetizer and they were cooked to perfection. My husband had the steak Oscar and I had the roasted half chicken. Both were exceptionally delicious. For dessert, I had the chocolate torte with strawberry puree and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My husband had the creme brulee and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure of our servers name (Elona?), but she was absolutely outstanding; friendly, helpful and there when we needed something, but never hovering. She also made some exceptional cocktails! We had a great experience and would highly recommend Char.

We had a fabulous Mother's Day brunch at Grand View Lodge! The food was delicious, and there were many options, including plenty of choices for children. Everything was beautifully displayed and thoughtfully prepared. The service was excellent, and our reservation was perfectly timed with no wait. Looking forward to returning next year!

Everything was great, especially the service. The wait staff was extremely attentive and wanted to ensure a great experience.

Time after time the staff at CHAR continues to create an amazing dining experience. Iyrna and Quin are always so pleasant and accommodating making us feel like family. Food is second to none. Our favorite place for a date night or weekend getaway. Thank you, Grand View.

The restaurant was quiet , walleye was excellent and the sides were perfectly prepared. Our servers were attentive but not overly so . Except for the price ( and unexpected upcharge for a name vodka we didn't request) it was a lovely evening.
