Food was very bland, breadstick was inedible, service was very slow (although I think she was the only person waitressing), definitely would not recommend for more than a party of 2.

My wife and I had a great time in one of the outdoor igloos. It was pretty pricey to rent out, but for how much fun we had, I think it was worth it. It was in single digits outside so it was a little cold even with the space heater. We dressed warm and the staff let us know this would be the case before we arrived. Hand warmers helped out just fine! Food was alright, a little spendy, but all had great flavor. Our server was extremely helpful in getting us into the igloo and getting our food in good time.

We just got back from our stay at GrandView and Wow! I was so utterly impressed and happy with our stay! Every staff member we encountered (from check-in, to waiters, to pool staff, to housekeeping) was so great! We rented an igloo one night and it was so fun and our waitress Grace was so great! The giant pretzel was a huge hit and my Baileys and hot cocoa was perfect. The girl working at the coffee shop was so nice and went above and beyond with our two kids. The outdoor hot tub and pool with water slide were wonderful! It was such a fantastic stay and I wanted to make sure you knew just how great everything was!! Thanks for making this another memorable trip for us!
Loved the idea of the igloo, unfortunately Freddy's under delivered this time around. We were celebrating a special birthday and called ahead to order a platter that needs 24 hours advanced notice. They seemed confused about this when we arrived and asked about it. Igloo was short two seats, (only had seating for 4) and our server never returned to help us so we had to get our own chairs. Restaurant was clearly under staffed and our server was doing her best in the situation, but we felt it. Thankfully we were only planning on happy hour, so we left without ordering any additional food/beverage after the first round. Felt overcharged for the experience we had. Probably would not return or recommend to a friend. Too bad as the setting has the potential to be magical.
We were at Grandview Lodge for the weekend and decided to book an Igloo. There were two options on how to book which was a bit confusing; "On the Rocks" and or "Freddys in the Igloo" which had we known more about the grounds it would've been an easy reservation to book. But, I excitedly booked the Igloo for sunset so we can be in the Igloo when the sun was setting on the lake. - upon arrival at On the Rocks we were not clear where to check in- finally made our way to the bar at which time the hostess told us "its not these Igloos" (which were by our cabin) "Its at Freddys across the road"- we made it over there 15 minutes late. We arrived it was very dark, really quiet and the Igloos were sitting there with no firepit or real ambience outside of the Igloo, as they had at On the Rocks. But upon entering it was very clear who to communicate with (unlike On the Rocks) - We had two people immediately greet us with a smile. They were so kind and happy- cheerfully brought us out to the Igloo where the heater inside didn't do much at all... (we were dressed for it tho and warm enough) We only ordered a small appetizer and drinks... Andrew was our waiter who was so amazing, checked on us often, keep our drinks coming! I would absolutely love to go here again, mostly because of the excellent service. Just make certain you are clear on which Igloos you are booking.
Order for burger and wings took almost half an hour with no other diners in sight. Dry rubbed wings were over coated with salty and sweet rub. They probably were trying to figure out how to make the food in the kitchen. Just order beer here. They can’t screw that up.

This is a great spot. The wait staff is great and the golf simulator is so much fun. We will be back for sure.

Staff was great not really a sports bar. Its golfer bar. Still enjoyed our stop.
Food was very expensive snack bar food. Only one server for all the tables outside, so even though she did a good job she was spread too thin. The patio seating was very nice. There is a partial view of the golf course, and the flower boxes were pretty and well-kept.I split the garden salad and philly cheese steak with someone else at the table, so the pictures of that are half portions. The philly was very plain and cold by the time we got it. The fries were decent. The salad was okay. From what I saw, the burger is probably the best menu item- that or the buffalo chicken wrap. The onion rings also looked pretty good.We had the cheese curd appetizer. The cheese curds were like bite-size mozzarella sticks and were served with marinara sauce. Not bad, but expensive for what you got.Overall, it was expensive, plain food with a pretty good view. I mean, it's $10 for a hotdog. That seems excessive. Could be okay for a burger when halfway done golfing.
I do not understand why people rate this place 5 stars. It was the most simplest, cliche food you can think of. I expected a menu with more than 10 items. In the middle of eating, we were asked if we wanted our bills and kept being asked if we wanted anything else every 10 seconds… I felt rushed and unwelcome. Food was okay..

Notting gourmet about it. We use to come her 3 or 4 times a month from Valpo. Never again. For the prices they charge you would think the toilet would flush, and they might buy better toilet paper. Waitress was exceptional. Other than that. Come on this is the pines. 12 dollars for 6 wings. Tap beer was room temperature.
Went before our round of golf to have lunch. It’s a lovely deck. Sadly, it’s seriously understaffed. We waited for 10 minutes to place a simple order - cheese steak sandwich to be shared. I had to go to the kitchen to find our waitress after a table received their food and they came much later than us. Food arrived 10 minutes later. No French fries. The quick lunch turned into 45 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes of scarfing down lunch to make our tee time. Hugely disappointed!
We only ordered 4 things and two of them were not edible. The beef tacos were really salty and the fish tacos were very over cooked. The chips and salsa and salad were fine but both would have been pretty hard to mess up.
Service was fantastic. Food was just so so, I ordered a dinner salad and got mostly lettuce. Can't say much about OpenTable I couldn't modify my reservation and it was of no help in finding other restaurants. It allowed me to make a reservation at a restaurant that was closed for the night in question. Fortunately we discovered the problem before going and were able to find an alternative.
