Italian Gardens at Grand View Lodge provides a unique dining experience in their Igloos, which can be reserved through "On the Rocks" or "Freddy's in the Igloo." Guests can expect excellent service from friendly and attentive staff, with extra special praise for their well-trained team. The menu focuses on family-style ordering, offering generous portions that can feed 3-6 people. Dishes such as short ribs, chicken parmesan, and lemon chicken come with noodles and sauce. The butternut squash ravioli is a standout favorite, while the cannoli may not meet everyone's expectations. The lasagna has a low “Minnesota hot” spice, making it a great choice for lasagna lovers. Chicken Marsala features a light breading but can be slightly salty. The cheese-stuffed manicotti is light and creamy, making it a table favorite. Guests appreciate the good wine selection and the cozy atmosphere, which feels like a little escape into a small European city. Heaters are available to keep guests warm, and gluten-free options add to the appeal. With a focus on filling and flavorful meals, Italian Gardens is a wonderful choice for a satisfying dining experience.
