Incredible food and great vibe. Our kids loved playing in the arcade while we parents enjoyed a dinner out on the patio. The walleye sandwich and the cheese curds are a must-order!! So tasty

The burger and fries were great. Amazing But the tuna bowl is a plate (dish?) of rice with a scoop of soy-soaked tuna, some raw cucumber, cold edamame, some wonton chunks, and other random things. The Mediterranean grain bowl has the same rice with kalmata olives, chickpeas, and a bunch of *very* rough chopped veggies. Together it runs you well over 40 bucks and seems like it was made by someone who saw a picture and didn't know what it was supposed to taste like. Or how to use a knife.
Hey Grand View Lodge, I'm not telling you how to run a business, but you know how many people who don't stay at the resort still come for chocolate ox? That many and more would come if you served food that was slightly better than Zorbas or Bar Harbor. It's such a a low bar. Just make sure anything you put on the menu is better than those two, and you'll put airbnb's to shame. All these random Google-reviewing restaurant guests will be envious and wish they could stay there. ...Or, you know, you can put stuff on the menu that you don't do well and leave people disappointed.

We stay at GVL 4 times per year. I never learn that the service is awful at GVL restaurants. Don’t waste your time or money eating on property. It is overpriced and the staff just doesn’t care!!

Considering how slow it was, we got very poor service. Food is way over-priced! $30 for a giant pretzel appetizer and $16 for wings…yikes! I ordered the Smashed Burger, but it was not a smashed burger at all; just a regular burger patty. For such a high-end place with high-end pricing, the food and service needs some major improvements.

Atmosphere is good, location is great if you are staying at GVL. Food, for the price, was not great. If you are going to charge $19 for wings, they should be above average. I didn't feel they were up to snuff. Also, the old fashioned was bad, need to train how to make one, it's not hard!

We went to the pub after bingo for a snack and to enjoy some live music. We had the cheese curds with dry rub and they were amazing!
5 stars! One of the best serving staff to date. In the basement of the Grandview lodge. What a beautiful old building. Take a stroll after lunch around the grounds. They were impeccable. Excellent sandwich. Portobello club. Yum.

Beautiful stop we stayed on the patio outside and it’s just gorgeous. Just went for drinks. Prob best espresso martini I have and I am a bit picky-they have an espresso machine which is pretty awesome.
