Wow is a good way to describe our experience. This was the most lavish Thanksgiving buffet that we have experienced. Better than anything in the Twin Cities area. Every conceivable item from the carvers section including duck and pheasant. A great seafood selection, huge selection of desserts and more. The atmosphere is fun but the food is not great. We had Birria tacos and they were very dry. There was no Birria sauce or cheese, just meat in a dry tortilla. The salsa and chips were also mediocre. I think it's over priced for what you get.
Came out to listen to some music at the Cantina on Gull Lake. Parking is a little shaky. But, once you are out of the car? You are confronted with a lake side view of Gull Lake. It's an outdoor venue, service is friendly and good. Short menu of great food. A nice place, with great atmosphere, to relax on a lazy afternoon and listen to the music of Seth Doud! Only in northern Minnesota!
