“Ok, so I’m a Northfield native living in Brooklyn NY, surrounded by snobby/world-class bakeries, including Ovenly, home to one of the best PB cookies in the country. Bread People’s cookies, including the PB cookie, completely blow it out of the water. There’s so much delicacy in the flavor of everything they make - i hope this place becomes a Northfield institution!!“

So far my favorites are everything I've tried: oatmeal rolls, Minnesota rice rolls, MN rice with craisins bread, caramel rolls and my new favorite, a savory egg scone topped with cheese and herbs. Their products are baked from scratch using quality ingredients and it shows. The food quality along with great service makes this a winning choice!“

“I ordered the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich for the 2nd time this week. Homemade English Muffins, real pork sausage (not the frozen kind), egg and lots of cheese. Definitely worth it! Next time I will try the ham or bacon sandwich. Thanks to Devin and Erin for a great breakfast place to eat.“

“The food is great, typical Perkins with good portions at fair prices. Our waitperson was upbeat, she got everything as ordered. The breakfasts were brought out hot and delicious...I really love their omelets! (Even the 55+ menu offers enough food)
There is ONE BIG ISSUE, not with the staff or food.... it's that its NOT easily wheelchair accessible.... there's no push buttons to open the entrance, and there's a BIG bump , NOT smooth, to get over the thresholds... Perkins, you can do better! Its obviously do-able, but you'll NEED someone pushing and helping you get your front wheels over the thresholds.
Again, food, service, employees, prices, GREAT! Just please make it so anyone not bipedal can enter with as much ease as others.“
