“This place was an awesome find when visiting the state park! Pick your favorite wolf while you wait for your food to arrive. We started with the sampler platter - the taquitos were just ok, but everything else was really good. I ordered the thick crust veggie pizza and can attest that they really heap on the toppings. Crust was really good! Tasted great in the restaurant and leftovers reheated really well. Would definitely eat here again. Note - Cash Only! They have an ATM on-site but plan ahead....“

“Great tasting food and portion size. Loved the prime rib and hubby had high praise for the bourbon burger. My baked potato was a yellow potato instead of the average russet. It had a creamier texture once the butter was mashed in. The asparagus spears tasted like they were grilled; SO yummy! The atmosphere when we arrived was a bit on the noisy side but things quieted down once a couple large crowds left. It has a hometown feel with a good salad bar. The potato salad is a must try; tastes like a fully loaded baked potato. The restaurant could use more staff but be patient, the available staff is super pleasant. We will be back.“

“Great staff, cheap drinks. But the vibe changes radically based on the crowd. One night it can be a small group of normal people cracking jokes back and forth at each other as if they'd known each other for years. The next night it can be a bunch of drunk sleeveless t-shirt and Skynyrd baseball cap-wearing types who put "Beer for my Horses" on repeat on the jukebox and make it miserable for everyone else.“

“The bar isn't anything to write home about. The friends you go with is what makes the time great. We enjoyed free popcorn swimming in oil, it was good. We went over to the bowling lanes and had an amazing time. The locals are interesting and very... friendly. I will be returning if given the chance.“

“Food was phenomenal! Service could use some work, BUT businesses are still trying to recoup from COVID...STILL. So I can't be harsh. The person who waited on us was very friendly and had a good attitude, and thats what's important! All around, if you're in the area, give them a shot!“
