Ordered the chicken taco salad per the reviews and bartenders recommendation. Lots of bagged shredded lettuce, a deep fried shell and some thick cut lunch meat, processed chicken. Don’t fool yourself, it’s not actual grilled chicken breast. They could and should do much better. BLTA was good, not great and fries were crisp but bland. Atmosphere out in the boathouse was fantastic and both bartenders were prompt and friendly.
The pub is good but The Boathouse attached is the coolest thing around. It is a bar in an actual boat so has some appeal to it. Staff and food are very good! Taco salad is a must! Great place to stop on the bike and they support local bike runs/fundraisers. Outdoor music during summer from solo acts to bands!
No seating available inside on a very chilly evening. They would not give an estimate of how long the wait would be for a table. We ended up sitting outside in the tented “Boathouse.” Appetizer and burgers were good but not amazing, drinks were fairly cheap for bar pricing. Overall a fine experience.
