Very neat space just on the outskirts of the town of Detroit Lakes. Unique bar area constructed from an actual boat and plenty of seating. Beer was cold and the live music excellent, will be returning!
Ordered the chicken taco salad per the reviews and bartenders recommendation. Lots of bagged shredded lettuce, a deep fried shell and some thick cut lunch meat, processed chicken. Don’t fool yourself, it’s not actual grilled chicken breast. They could and should do much better. BLTA was good, not great and fries were crisp but bland. Atmosphere out in the boathouse was fantastic and both bartenders were prompt and friendly.
We have been to the Cormorant Pub many times before, but not recently.\nWe ordered entrees, ribs and chicken. We were very surprised to see that the entrees only come with one side. We can understand the one side if a person orders a burger or sandwich, but not an entree.\nNot sure when or if we will be back. On a positive note, our waiter was very accommodating and friendly.
