Service is great and the atmosphere is that quirky north woods thing that us locals don’t notice and the tourists come to see. “Paul Bunyan’s Favorite Restaurant” is in a neat A-Frame building with a no-fuss, cozy interior. Be sure to come before 11 (11:30 on weekends) for their phenomenal breakfast. Now serving mimosas and bloody marys/bloody beers!Parking: Plenty of parking spots in the lot, and lots of other areas to park if the lot is full. I took my wife out to dinner.We have had lunch here before .I ordered a sandwich and when they brought my food it was not a sandwich it had gravy poured all over it SOGGY BREAD.At that point I said I did not want that and I was made to pay for it.I just called in the morning and the manager knows that he is wrong but never the less if you order something here and do not like it be prepared to have to pay for it something I've never experienced anywhere before.Iguess they are so broke and have no class or Amerian Patriotism.God is watching I certainly would never give my money to a place with these standards.i asked an elderly man at the gas station should I have to pay for it if I didn't take bit 1 bite. OBVIOUSLY the answer is NO ....

This place is always so good we stopped there on our way home or on our way there to the cabin! The chicken is delicious they have a great breakfast and wonderful lunches. And the waitresses are wonderful, very pleasant and sociable. You can tell they come from that generation!!!
