Came here with our family. Beautiful views, very friendly staff. Food was excellent. We very much enjoyed the sunnies appetizer and walleye dinner. Waiter very attentive to the kids with us and host was very kind and friendly!

The ambience was charming. Great Northwoods vibe. The servers were so kind and helpful. The food (and drinks) were outstanding! My husband loved the Memphis style dry rub ribs. (He’s from Memphis) My petite tenderloin was perfect! We would definitely go back!!

I have eaten here for over 50 years, since I was a kid. I don’t get here every year but most years. Always order the ribs but to me, this time they seem different. They were drier and had more rub on them. They were still good but I did not think they were as good. I like the sauce. We enjoyed the onion rings which we often order as well.

It was a busy night, but we were seated and ignored for around 20 minutes. Another table seated after us already had ordered drinks. I went to the hostess to see what was up and she said it was her fault and that someone would be with us soon. Our waitress was very nice, but it was clear that we were not her table. I had the scallops, which were great, but the half chicken that my son ordered was dry and overcooked. My husband’s filet was over marinated and tasted funny. We were not offered any comps for the service snafu (maybe a free round of drinks?). The wine list is excellent and the atmosphere was also top notch. The price was very high for the food quality and iffy service.

Ordered to go calamari & sunnies appetizers. Way over cooked very chewy. Also ordered smoked ribs with augrautins and soup. Got ribs and potatoes but no soup.

Stopped by a couple times this summer. Drinks are good and so is the food. Mussels and the chicken are my pick. Also the potato peels are nice with the horseradish bbq.
