We get the same things every time we go there. Sour dough mushrooms, parmesan peels,soup, salad, and service were all 5 stars. Ribs were very disappointing this time. Ribs my favorite were Burnt, dry, and tough. They have all you can eat ribs on Fridays and maybe on Saturday night if you eat early you might be getting the leftovers reheated from the previous night. So 2 stars for the ribs. Skip the ribs on Saturday nights??

Went for a special anniversary. Requested a table with a view and in a quiet area and both requests were accommodated. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms (phenomenal!), my partner ordered the duck (which was delicious) and I ordered the filet & scallops combo (which was good but the scallops were just a tiny bit undercooked). Waitstaff were welcoming and added to the enjoyment of the evening. LOVED the atmosphere and view of the lake. It's a bit pricier than what we normally spend, but we'll definitely go back to Norway Ridge for future special occasions.

You must get the chicken!! Super tasty and outshined the steak for only half the price. They have really reasonably priced dirty martinis for the volume you get, including blue cheese stuffed olives made in house. Attentive service that met my needs. Would go again!

Our first time there. It was our anniversary and we had a cute little blonde waitress that was awesome! She offered insight into the many menu options and made our evening totally enjoyable. We loved the rustic woodsy decor of the restaurant because we are upnorth residents ourselves. The food was great with many items not available everywhere. We'll be back...

We went here with a friend for his birthday a few weeks ago, and my husband liked it but my entree and salad were terrible (1/2 whole chicken). There was barely any meat, and no flavor. My husband wanted to go tonight for his birthday, so I was going to order a steak instead and I was fine with going back.

But, we never even got past the drinks because the waiter kept us sitting for 15 mins, ready to order, when we were starving and he only had 2 other tables. He didn't bring bread, didn't ask if we were waiting for anyone else, literally barely talked to us all. He was unsmiling and unfriendly. My husband and I set aside money for places like this; we don't just have money to spend on a restaurant like this every weekend, or even every month. When you are charging 55-70 for a steak, the service needs to be above and beyond. This guy was unfriendly and kept us waiting a long time, even when I made eye contact with him. He was not busy at all.

We ended up leaving, and he was up at the front just casually chatting with the hostess. The manager or owner (other lady up at the front) told us to have a good night, and didn't even notice that we literally walked in 20 mins before that. She was the one that greeted us.
It was not busy, so there was no reason not to realize that.
We called after to let them know why we left, and the woman was defensive and unapologetic. She technically apologized but it was more like a sarcastic apology.
I have a lot of grace for restaurants and service, but when you are spending 150-200 for 2 people to eat, you better provide some stellar service. We would never come here again.

Four of us went to Norway Ridge Supper Club for an anniversary and birthday dinner. 2 of us ordered the blackened ribeye steak dinner for $55. One third of both of the steaks were not edible due to the gristle and toughness and were the worst ribeye steaks I have ever eaten at a restaurant. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he said he would mention it to the cook and that was basically it. When he brought the bill we asked him again about the steaks. He replied that he hasn’t had any other complaints about the steaks and most people just cut off the top marbled part of the steak and don’t eat it. No attempt was made to try to please the customer other than to make excuses.

Exceeded my expectations. This is an amazing restaurant, with wonderful service, flawless steak, and excellent appetizers. Slightly pricey, but not overpriced for the experience.

Very cozy, inviting and the service was excellent.
Food hands down 10/10. We had the filet with w/blackened walleye.
Pickled Herring for an appetizer, very good and presented so nicely as well.
Definitely will be back!
