SUR by Vita Bella Reviews
I love having something like this in Ramsey! So convenient when we want something a little more elevated. Love the wine dinners as well. I’ve never had something I don’t like here!
Update:
My daughter contacted, the owner, that was there that night and she did explain some of what happened , wasn’t really the fault of the restaurant or management or kitchen.
So I will have to say that we will definitely be trying the restaurant again, knowing that this was a rare experience
That we encountered the evening that we were there.
We went there to celebrate my birthday. We had a table of six. Our reservations were at six.

SUR by Vita Bella offers a mixed dining experience, with standout drinks and some delicious food options, though service can be inconsistent. The atmosphere is generally described as great and nice, providing an elevated dinner spot in Ramsey. Drinks are a highlight, with the Hugo spritz and strawberry balsamic martini being well done and delicious.
Food quality is a point of variation. The potato au gratin is highly praised for its nice cheese blend and is considered a must-try, with generous portion sizes. The cheeseburger is perfectly cooked with flavorful aioli, and the swordfish with mango habanero pico is a perfect pairing. Crab cakes are also noted for their generous portion of crab meat and flavorful sauce. However, some dishes fall short, with crispy Brussels sprouts being over-charred and the soft shell crab sandwich disappointing due to minimal crab and heavy batter. Shoestring fries and coleslaw are described as just okay and underwhelming. The bread starter was also disappointing, being overdone and hard.
While the food and atmosphere are often appreciated, the service can be a drawback. Some reviewers experienced significant delays in receiving appetizers, with incorrect orders being brought out. Servers are sometimes described as not seeming all that interested, with a lack of proactive information about specials or desserts, requiring customers to actively ask. Drink refills can also be inconsistent. Despite these service issues, the overall experience is often positive, with many finding the food great and prices fair, leading to a desire to return. The restaurant also offers the option to bring your own bottle of wine for a corking fee.
