Really don't know what else one could ask for! Awesome grocery store, even better restaurant. Excellent food in terms of taste, selection, price point, etc. Always busy for a reason! Try the molcajete, it's definitely a lot of food for even 2-3 adults. You'll want extra corn tortillas though! A+.
I was raised in a Mexican-American family in Kansas. While I was excited to move to such a large city, I was disappointed to learn that there is not a very large Mexican food scene here. Imagine my surprise when I found an authentic Mexican restaurant a year into my stay!I regularly order the tamales, which are even better than the ones my aunt made back home. Some of the best Mexican food in the twin cities. Serving authentic dishes for crowds of hungry people, Andale gets it right. They don't have a ton of space and the parking lot is a nightmare, but it's so worth it. Do yourself a favor and grab a huge bag of the fresh chips from the mercado next door. Best tortilla chips in the metro.
