“This place is amazing! There's always a bit of a line and for good reason, but it moves along fairly quickly. Self order at touch screen and they call your name out. Great rotating selection of melt-in-your-mouth, always soft, mochi dough donuts with some staples like the taro and black sesame -- you can't go wrong, but those two and the strawberry are my personal faves. I also love the Thai tea and stir fried boba!“
“Got donuts from here with the family early in the morning. Employees were friendly and gave good service. I had been here previously before the remodel and like how clean and bright the bakery looks now!I gave the cake donuts a try. While they were good, and I appreciated the real chocolate, I wasn’t blown away. My sister found the glaze on her raised donut a bit too sweet for her liking. I’d still like to come back to try other kinds of donuts.“
“We had the grilled cheese, the crunch burger, and a chocolate shake. Everything was absolutely delicious, overflowing with flavor, and cooked perfectly! The ambiance is lacking and the store looks tired, but I kind of like it that way for my donut shop. I feel like they're keeping costs as low as possible for me. “Stopped in Tuesday morning for a few hours to get some school work done and this location had the perfect atmosphere. Although this coffee shop is located within the Daymark apartments on the first floor, the WiFi was a little difficult.Aside from that, the “Maple Cinnamon Latte” was really delicious definitely a 10/10 and there was no extra charge for oat-milk. “This place is great. A classic donut shop - opens super early, has all the familiar options (cake, raised, old fashioned, long John's, apple fritters, etc), and serves basic coffee. Seems like mostly a takeaway place but they have a couple of tables. Love going here anytime the kids wake up too early.“
“I went there this morning and purchase 3 cinnamon glazed twisted rolls and I pointed to the 2nd tray in the case. When I got home, I open the bag and had 3 sugar coated twised rolls, not what I wanted!!! Maybe they had 2 types of the same on the same tray...and of course she picking from the back which I can't see. I called and you can't get through the phone menu to talk to anyone!!! “Best flavor and texture of Mochi donuts I've had in the twin cities. They do a great job of quality and freshness. Family-owned outlet of a chain. They also have some pre-made bubble teas and Korean cheese/corn dogs that I didn't try. The pistachio donut was my favorite of the three I tried. The lemon raspberry was nice - the glazes were sweet with a little tartness. The Nutella donut was by far the worst - tasted like bad cheap chocolate-ish icing with no hazelnut flavor at all. Watch outs: the Nutella donut is glazed with bad plain chocolate icing, and it's implied that you can only buy multi-packs of donuts. You can buy a single donut, but have to ask specifically for that.“

I highly recommend getting the tea cakes, they're huge and delicious!Have been coming here for years, even though it is out of the way for us. “When I was in high school my parents took us on a family vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I remember lots of sun, beach time, and eating the best donut of my life. Duck donuts has remained in my mind as one of my top food experiences ever since.Fast forward 15yrs… As I was shopping around Mall of America a long forgotten smell hit my nose. Was I dreaming?? Nope! It was DUCK DONUTS!!! I was so excited to see these donuts had finally found their way back into my life! I quickly ordered a half dozen. I watched them being made fresh to order and noticed several others stopping by to put their order in. What I love about Duck's is the similarity of their donuts to a giant mini donut. They are melt in your mouth cake donuts- arguably the best kind of donut! They have tons of different flavored icings to try and are served warm, so you won't be disappointed.I only wish they more locations near me in Maple Grove so I could treat my team at the hospital to a few dozen. The sad donuts we get in the hospital break room hardly compare! Skip the food court and get yourself a dozen next time you're shopping at the mall, you won't regret it!“

I'm not sure if they just can't staff it, or if there's health issues with the owner; but the set up is very odd.I'm not looking for an experience where I stand outside by the door, call a number to be let in. Then instructed via phone to go behind the bakery counter and serve myself. All this to then pay the same price as I would in a full service/friendly bakery. It felt rather messy, maybe even unsanitary, and unsafe.“
