We have been here 3 times now and each time we try new menu items. Not one has been less than stellar! What a gem that we are lucky to have in Robbinsdale. Our favorite is the scallop scampi. Shoutout to Cole, a great server and so personable! We spent $120 for an app, 2 pastas, a bottle of wine, and a dessert. Pretty great deal when the food is this good!
Excellent food, super reasonably priced for a nice Italian night out! Very cozy and the service was exceptional. Would definitely go back!

The beef tartare was prepared with small cubes of meat rather than mince and the topping was amazing. Standouts include the scallop scampi, the Rigatoni alla Vodka, the Chicken Parmesan, the Beef Braciole, the Fusilli with Beef Cheek Ragu, the Casarecce Scampi, the Peach and Tomato Brushetta, the Mortadella and Mozzarella Spiedini, and the Lemon Orzata Italian soda. The service is outstanding, knowledgeable, and just the right blend of casual blended with impeccable timing. The restaurant feels welcoming, with aromas from the open kitchen, and is popular even on a Sunday night. Parking is easy, and the patio is very cute and quiet with no pedestrian traffic watching you eat. Reservations are recommended, and when reserving, make sure to select your preference between patio seating and the dining room. Risata Cucina is a neighborhood gem and a go-to upscale Italian restaurant.
