Speakeasy / cocktail lounge type place. Gotta solve the riddle to get in. Really fantastic cocktails! Huge variety of unique stuff. No food, that I know of at least. Really cool relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly, skilled, and helpful staff and bartenders. Definitely worth checking out. I try and go every time I'm in Rochester. Definitely go here, to the basement one, over the rooftop bitter and pour down the street, not even close.
First rate cocktails; friendly and attentive staff. Set up for zebra striping, however should look to serve the best water to match the standards of their mixes. Last evening's water was off-tasting. Be sure to fare prior as this is a no food option speak easy.
Do you allow outside food in your bar? For example, can I go to McDonald's and order a quarter pounder w/ cheese and bring it to your bar and eat it there?
Edit: My mistake, did not mean to change the initial rating of this bar. It is a 5 star experience! I only inquired about outside food because someone next to me was eating outside food at the bar and the bar tender didn't seem to mind.
