Outstanding as always and Benjamin was on his game even though they were also serving a party in the back room! His recommendation of the steak was spot on! Can't wait to be back.
Another excellent experience. They are so welcoming and the service is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have some food restrictions. (dairy, gluten, etc.) and they worked with me to identify viable options. The food was wonderful and the wine list was great. All-around great night out.
Had to wait 30 minutes to get a drink. Host ended up waiting on me. Waitress was non existent. Wagyu was not worth the price. Port $20 for a 1/3 pour. Ridiculous
Food was excellent, service with Benjamin our waiter was next level - he made sure to guide us through the menu and was a fantastic host. Would absolutely go back for both the food and the service.
Unfortunately it was loud and conversations were difficult. The food was good but it seems the selections are more limited than they used to be. Service was wonderful!
Don't order steak, I'm not sure why but they have a hard time serving a tender steak. It's hard to screw up crème brule but, wow it's not a that hard. Hope they can figure things out I love this place!
The food was amazing—appetizer, main dish, and dessert. The braised lamb was so delightful! I was raving about the rich flavors that melted in my mouth. The best meal I've had in the past year Bleu Duck is my new favorite restaurant! Loved it all!
Such wonderful creative tasty food! Changes seasonally. They always cheerfully accommodate my keto diet. One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Rochester.
This is the most disappointing service industry experience I have ever had. My friends and I visited Bleu Duck on a Friday evening and were met with animosity from our server from the second he got to our table. I am not sure if it was because we were young (early 20s) or women but it should not matter, as humans we face stereotypes in our daily lives and a fine dining establishment is the last place an individual should have to feel they are been looked at with negative bias. He told my friend she “fit the bill” when she discussed her career in the country club industry as a “ditsy blonde who upsells booze to men” (who says that???), responded to our friend’s mention of her beginning her career in medicine as basic, and after spilling oil on one of us never apologized or said the words I am sorry. I love dry humor and can have an appreciation for all types of personalities however, rude is rude. After seeing how this effected one of my friends I called and left a message asking to have a conversation with the GM and never heard back. This can not show me more clearly how this establishment views the situation and I will be sharing my experience with my colleagues and network in the Rochester area in hopes no one else has to go through the negative experience we did.

The food and ambience was amazing. The sirloin steak was juicy and cooked so well. On the other hand the service was awful. Our server Benjamin was snarky, dismissing our meal choices and saying how bad the food was, and also spilled oil on my friends lap and didn’t even apologize for it. He also called us ditzy blondes and was giving us constant judgement the entire time that really offput all of us. I have never left a review before but I felt that this needed to be addressed. Hope Benjamin gets an etiquette lesson and can learn from this. Other than that, the experience was good.

Great coctails, oysters, duck, seafood stew, calamari, crepe cake, chocolate tart. We sat in window, quieter than main floor. Good for us old folks. Loved it. If we lived here we would be regulars.
It is no wonder this is such a popular restaurant! The menu offers a variety of unique and exciting dishes. We were blown away by the bold and innovative flavors. Definitely a culinary gem! Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. It's rare to find a place that delivers on every level, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. A must-visit!
Absolutely fabulous dining. We enjoyed the oysters, grilled watermelon salad, and the steelhead salmon. The servers were knowledgeable about each dish we asked about. The 16 layer crepe pumpkin cake was out of this world. Our favorite place in Rochester by far.
The ambience was awesome.. the service was great! We had Benjamin! He was the best and the food was delicious! I had the duck and my husband had seafood stew and we also had the delicious and delectable pumpkin cake! All amazing ! Will come back when we visit from NY! Wonderful experience ! Tanya ♥️Frank
