I went here for a work social gathering while I was visiting the Rochester, MN area. The ambiance of the place was really nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, they had a great selection of beer on tap, and the pizza was delicious. They had a really nice spread of pizza's out and they continuously replenished as the pizza went. It was a really nice time out mingling with co-workers and making new work connections while enjoying pizza and beer!

I called to order some pizza for delivery at 9:36PM; they stated the kitchen closes at 10pm. As someone who has worked in the food industry, it was always expected that we had to take orders, no matter how close it was to our kitchen closing time. This is small, but at the same time annoying, as Broadway pizza is a treat in our household. We will continue business with Broadway pizza and will continue to love the food, but we wish they would have fulfilled the order since their kitchen was still open for 24 more minutes on a Monday night.

We stopped for the lunch buffet. We haven’t been to this location since before Covid. It has really changed. We arrived at noon, and ordered drinks. Then got in line for the buffet. Pizza was dried out, spaghetti was literally dried stuff and crunchy, sauce was thick and dried out. It looked like the buffet was going for several hours, what you would expect to see after 1:30pm. But it was just an hour. My pizza definitely wasn’t made fresh today, it was awful. We won’t make the mistake again…..?
Ate there 3 times in one week. Fabulous thin whole wheat crispy crust with mega veggies. Love the big dining room with the trains going around. Much quieter than the bar. I would rate it excellent across the board except one day at 1 pm the music in the bar was so loud I couldn't hear my companions. The server said it was a preset volume and couldn't be lowered. That day service was excessively slow even though there were about five of us in the place. Perhaps an off day as I eat there every time I go to Rochester and love it. Most of my companions do too. Note that it's best to pay cash, otherwise there's a surcharge for credit cards.

In town to be with my brother at Mayo Clinic. Staying not far from Broadway Bar & Pizza. Some locals turned me on to it. Excellent service, great atmosphere, but the real reason to come is the pizza and the staff. Excellent veggie thin crust pizza! Carmen, manager and bartender, is amazing. She cares and does a great job! I'll be coming back for future Rochester visits! Definitely a place worth checking out.
