Used to have the best food in town. I'm assuming since COVID-19 hit quality went down.
Biggest hit for me is the complete change of the dumpling recipe. They used to be a thicker breading that absorbed sauce and flavour and now it's a thin covering like every other dumpling at Chinese restaurants ;(.
Edit after getting home and eating:
I ordered broccoli & CHICKEN! They forgot the chicken. It's just broccoli...

I was part way through eating my take out when I noticed a very LARGE DEAD INSECT LARVA clinging to my broccoli. I can only assume that this happened because of a lack of produce washing. I've been a regular customer at China Star, but I will not be eating here again after this incident.

Really delicious food and very kind employees. I arrived 10 min. before they closed, tired and hungry after traveling all day, and they were very kind to let me stay while they cleaned up. Thank you, again, China Star!!

We always order our chinese food from china star and usually its good but today our fried rice was dark colored and tasted like burnt oil/pan and was not good. Crab rangoons were oil soaked. Disappointing, i hope this review helps them watch their oil/pan and keep it clean so its not burnt

My wife and I always get dinner here. The food is prepared well and we have never had a problem. It's the best Chinese fare at an affordable price in town.
I ordered a large House Lo Mein and Sweet & Sour chicken to share with family for dinner. I was disappointed at the size of the so called "large" container, it was definitely a small size. The price I paid was definitely not worth the amount of food that I got to feed my family.

Foods are ok. Worker is very unfriendly. Silverware, napkins, etc, are always empty.
