Don Panchos Bakery Reviews
Excellent custom service, The lady at the register explained every food item to me. I bought fresh baked bread and some sweets there. Very pleased with the service.
The best bakery in Rochester! It’s hard to find fresh made croissants in town- this is the place. Amazing selection of pastries- my husband goes multiple times a week. Also- the cakes are beautiful and delicious 😍

Don Panchos Bakery is an amazing Mexican bakery and a favorite spot near St. Mary's, right around the corner from Fresh Thyme with parking by the door. The second you walk in, it smells amazing and everyone is super welcoming. You grab a basket and tongs to choose from so many freshly baked items, including Mexican bread, pastries, and authentic Mexican desserts like tres leches cake, budín de pan, and flan. Everything looks so good and tastes fresh, homemade, incredible, and delicious, with pastries that are not overly sugary but well balanced. They also make lovely custom tres leches cakes for events.
The service is excellent and friendly, with staff happy to explain items. The process is quite easy and everything is very affordable and reasonably priced. The bakery is mostly takeout with plenty of space, and there is outdoor seating. They also offer great matcha and coffee drinks, like a smooth and strong Americano, though the coffee bar service can sometimes be slow. A minor point is that items are not labeled, which can be part of the fun but also a challenge. Overall, the experience feels warm, genuine, and incredible, making it a new favorite stop in Rochester.
