Bouncers or security is very disrespectful and does not know how to talk to people in a professional manner you don't want somebody going out the back door put a sign up that says don't go on out the back but don't scream at your customers and disrespect because you're a mistake.

It's not the Kathies it once was. Idk somehow just doesn't feel the welcoming spot it used to be. Glad they're sticking it out tho.
If you're looking for the local dive bar, this is it. Regulars lined up at the bar, cheap drinks, smells like a bar with history. There's also an open air rooftop that's nice and quiet in the summer. Bartenders are friendly and pour generously. Informal, casual, cheap, classic. We stop in every so often after work for cheap beer and people watching.
Parking: You have to park on the street or at the ramp on 1st Ave. Parking is free after 5 pm and on the weekends, but you have to pay other times.
