Came in expecting a refined pint and a cozy, old-world vibe. Got that… and an unsolicited battlefield promotion.
Mid-sip, a wandering prophet of the sidewalk slid into the seat next to me, locked eyes, and informed me I am now a lieutenant in his army. Apparently we’re mobilizing soon and the tunnels beneath Rochester are involved. Before I could ask about benefits or dental, he seized my drink and chugged it like a man preparing for the apocalypse.

Totally enjoyed the Olde Brick House! Beautiful decor and very pleasant waiter/ bartender. Food was delicious. My husband had the cornbeef and cabbage. We shared the wonton Ruben rolls and I had the seafood chowder. Everything was top notch in my opinion.

Quiet Sunday evening, excellent service, hot fresh food, and delicious bread pudding for dessert - no raisins, but oddly served with ice cream. Access via the subway if you do not want to go outside.
