We have been in Rochester at Mayo Clinic for almost a month and walked by Salute at the Mariott hotel on a daily basis . It is billed as a Wine Bar and More. Because we weren't interested in wine bar, we never went in. Last night we discovered that "and more" actually included a dining room with fabulous dinner selections. This is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at when I am in Rochester. I have been here on 4 separate occasions. I have tried various things on the menu and my favorite meal was the 10 oz NY Strip steak that was accompanied by beautiful mashed potatoes and asparagus. The dressing was fantastic. Steak sauce was not needed to add since the steak had so much flavor. It was perfectly done just the way I like it medium rare.
