We began our meal with an order of focaccia and hummus (served with warm pita bread) -- both were wonderful. My husband had the Mafalde wild boar ragu. I had the vegetarian dish, Gnudi. We were both pleased with our meals. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert so we shared a French Press of coffee. Although not the quickest, our server was sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful and delicious evening, awesome food all around, fantastic service and great atmosphere!!! We will keep coming back and can't wait for the weather to turn and enjoy the outdoor seating area!!!

The Southside Fizz was delicious! The croquettes were okay but not my favorite although they seem to be very popular. The homemade pasta is a nice touch although I was not a fan of the red pesto on top. The sauce for the chicken was a little overwhelming, but good when reheated with rice to tone it down a little.

Incredible experience— do not miss this restaurant! Paladar is the intimate, delicious new restaurant with impeccable service that Rochester needed. Be sure to make a reservation, it was full on a Friday at 5:30, but we got lucky and were seated in the small bar area. You can’t go wrong with any of their well-crafted cocktails, but I highly recommend the daiquiris. Also, don’t miss the focaccia, the compound butter might just be part magic. Overall, a wonderful experience and I already have a reservation to go back.Well done, Paladar. Very, very well done.

One of the greatest in Rochester, simply some smashing water. Served in a hearty, smooth glass of a thinnish thickness, it held much water and I greatly enjoyed that it was without any ice—the water really gets a moment to shine by itself. As well, there was a pitcher filled with water that had a rustic feel to it, complimenting the aesthetic of the restaurant. Overall, it was highly refreshing and a wonderful accompaniment to the meal.

Our Paladar is special. My go-to restaurant to bring friends, family, and visitors, and my first recommendation to anyone wondering where to dine in Rochester. Their food is exceptional - they nail the classics (like a perfect carbonara with homemade pasta) while also having creative dishes you can’t find elsewhere. The wine list is thoughtful and there’s a cocktail for everyone.More importantly, perhaps, they’ve created a warm, familial but still elegant atmosphere. Their staff members are kind and professional yet unpretentious. The restaurant itself captures the essence of the historic railway depot with modern touches and subtle odes to their Cuban roots. In a town dominated by restaurants attached to sterile hotels, this place is a gem! Looking forward to many more dinners to come :)

Absolutely amazing!! Food was delicious, staff is so nice and extremely attentive, atmosphere is so nice too! Love this place so much!!! They are so good at accommodating my strict low sodium diet restriction, too.

A real jewel in this city! Food is imaginative and high end with modern twists on classic recipes. The mint and chive compounded butter melted over the crusty focaccia bread as we began eating their version of a Burrata salad topped with a pistachio-mint pesto. The in-house made pasta excelled in both the Bucatini and Rigatoni dishes we had. AND ... they had a Pavlova dessert to die for! The cocktails, while a little small, were very good. The atmosphere is casual in a renovated train station and the service was excellent and friendly. Next time, we are in town, we will be back.

This was our first visit. We brought good friends from out of town. We were very pleased with our choices, all were delicious. Our server was superb helping us navigate the menu and recommending appropriate wines.

Would recommend. We had a wonderful first dining experience at Our Paladar. Food was wonderful. Support staff was wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and wine and even brought out a little sample glass for my wife to try after dinner. Furniture was relatively new, chairs were comfortable. I was impressed with the walnut tables and the interesting chair shape. We are relatively new to Rochester and think we might make this our new "fancy dinner" place.

One of the best restaurants in Rochester!! Food is delicious, inventive and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting and perfect for having conversations. Service staff are top notch and customer focused!! Better than Terza or Crave. They are friendly, knowledgeable about meals and pairings impeccable not intrusive timing with food and drinks. They made us feel special! You have to try this place if you are tired of the run of the meal food selections and service of other places! Best all Around restaurant in Rochester!! We will be back!
