So SAD TO ANNOUNCE. ROSCOE HAS RETIRED AND CLOSED THE STORE. SO SAD IT WAS THE BEST. Congratulations Roscoe on your retirement
Great food and service. Sometimes a little too drowned in BBQ sauce... May start ordering it on the side. Great onion rings.... Pork... Chicken. Burgers are good... But not 5 Star.
People rant and rave about how good Roscoe's ribs are. I tried getting a full slab for lunch. Sadly, I did not enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed ribs at other restaurants in Rochester. These were underdone and chewy. They were also expensive. Since Roscoe's has announced that they are going out of business lot of people are coming for their final meal. I'm glad I went but probably won't return.
Not sure if I just ate ribs or rubber ... My boyfriend's brisket sandwich was decent but overly sauced and came with no sides. Our food was $32 dollars. I would not go there again. Best just head to famous daves or make your own ribs at home. The Dr. Pepper tasted like Dr. Pepper at least
I think it's closed, was great when around
I miss my double California burgerðŸ˜
Closed. Catering,& parking lot now.😒
Roscoes is a long time presence in Rochester though not as long as John Hardy's. I think one of the distinguishing points between the two is at Hardy's they smoke their own meats where Rosco's uses uses distributors. It's good to see they are still around even if the hours appear to be pretty limited. I had thought they were closed but apparently it was just the satellite location that was open a few years. We have Famous Dave's too if you go in for the chain restaurants. Overall my top pick though remains John Hardy's. The location just off 52 and across from Hillcrest Shopping mall.
It's closed! Sign outside like they still offer catering.
My husband and I went to roscoes today for Thursdays on 1st and asked if they had an allergy guide. they said no and asked what allergy. We asked what was gluten free and they said everything besides the buns. My husband got a bbq pork sandwich with no bun and within 20 mins was ill. When I called the store i told them what had happened and they said "I doubt it". Terrible customer service. The man on the phone had no empathy that my husband got sick from their food. Not safe to eat there for anyone with allergies.

Good food and good caterers.
I got a burger and I liked it. Those who got ribs.. weren't so satisfied
You won't leave hungry. Everything is awesome, but a Chuck Hazama and pineapple malt gets it done for me every time!
Outstanding BBQ. OUTSTANDING PRICE. Unbelievable price honestly for the quality. . I would know, my dad is a chef!
Prices have escalated in the past few years, but the value remains. It is 3 blocks east of the Olmsted/Rochester government center. No real inside dining, but east outside and enjoy.
