People rant and rave about how good Roscoe's ribs are. I tried getting a full slab for lunch. Sadly, I did not enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed ribs at other restaurants in Rochester. These were underdone and chewy. They were also expensive. Since Roscoe's has announced that they are going out of business lot of people are coming for their final meal. I'm glad I went but probably won't return.
Roscoes is a long time presence in Rochester though not as long as John Hardy's. Prices have escalated in the past few years, but the value remains. It is 3 blocks east of the Olmsted/Rochester government center. No real inside dining, but east outside and enjoy.
