We so enjoy Smoak, but this Saturday was an exceptional experience with the Grinch, brunch and buffet! Our grandkids had the best time as did the adults and the food was phenomenal! Our server was great. You kept the food coming warm and hot even with the restaurant almost filled a capacity. You never disappoint with your customer service and quality.

Stopped in for lunch today and needless to say I will definitely be back! The food was solid but the service is what really stood out. Hunter did a great job of making sure I had what I needed while also not hovering (no one likes to be watched while they eat). I hope when I stop back in he is working! We had a group outing there for my first experience at SMOAK. The brisket was excellent, and my ribs tasted good (the bones were quite large, so not much meat). Cool atmosphere and nice drink/beer selection. Our server was excellent!

Polite staff. Great environment. Just passing through the area. Not a lot of time to spare. Ordered takeout. Brisket was tender and cooked to perfection. Rest of order was decent. Walked out the door and something said this bag is really lightweight. Checked and realized my coleslaw is missing. Food portions were very small. No plasticware in the bag. No condiments. Nothing. You would think if a person spends $40 for basically a pound of food that nothing would be left out. As tight as money is nowadays you have to do better. Plus restaurant was nowhere near busy. Come on guys. First time here. Dont know when ill be back in the area but I'll give it one more try. Just bc the brisket was all that.

Fantastic BBQ, right here in Rochester! As a native Memphian, I am a BBQ snob, and Smoak doesn't disappoint. Their meat can stand alone without being heavily sauced, which means it's done right. No dry and tough pork or brisket here - and everything is super flavorful. Also, can I just say I love that there's a place I can get proper greens in this town? Yum!
Honestly some of the dryest, lack of flavor bbq I've ever had. Even the sauce was dry. I spent over a 100 bucks and to be fair mcdonalds would have gotten it done tastier and cheaper.

We have been loyal customers of Smoak since they have opened. Tonight was out LAST time to frequent this restaurant. Ordered as always and I'm allergic to cabbage and I ALWAYS sub out for a salad instead of coleslaw. NOT TONIGHT!! Our server was slow, rude and very incompetent!!! Sorry, you won't get another dime from us!!
