Taco Lab is a popular spot with unique and delicious food offerings, quick service, and a fun atmosphere. They offer vegetarian options by substituting veggies for meat in most dishes. The restaurant has plenty of parking, although it can be tricky to find, and features outdoor seating with ample space for kids to run around. The staff is extremely friendly and fast, making it a great experience. Their menu items, such as nachos and burritos, are highly praised, and they also cater to large parties with flexible and responsive service.
Taco Lab serves a very unique selection of tacos and other options like steak elotes, Kung Fu chicken tacos in a wonton shell, and the shrimp happens tacos with crispy shrimp topped with a pineapple slaw and mango sauce. The quesabirria is also good, though some wish for more cilantro and onion. While most dishes are great, the carne asada elotes and underfilled steak tacos could be improved. The chips in the shrimp happens item were stale, and there’s a small fee for credit card payments. Despite minor issues, the food is amazing, and the staff keeps a great attitude even when busy.
