Thaipop is a fantastic spot! I really liked their food—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, and the waitress was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a warm, homey feel that makes you want to stay longer. Everything I tasted was a wow! A great place if you're craving delicious Thai food with great hospitality.
Loved my experience at Thai Pop, the employees were very kind, it was my birthday and i went by myself, they made me feel very welcomed and were incredibly kind!! The food was amazing, I ordered Coconut Brisket, my waitress also was kind enough to inform me it was the broth version (which is what i wanted but is appreciated for those who were expecting something different!) i love and appreciate the nonalcoholic options as well as i’m currently sober but still wanted a pretty drink for my birthday, overall would rate 10 stars if i could! The coconut brisket had the perfect flavor!!
Great vegan options
Gorgeous atmosphere with plants and an eclectic feel. Even the glasses were functionally stunning. I had the sticky wings which were done to perfection. The son in law eggs were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Great flavor and attentive service!!! Don’t miss this gem!!
Amazing food the taste is incredible. Dirks are wonderful and the staff is great
Great food. Service was fast! Coconut chicken was delicious!
I can see why this place is so popular. The Basil Chicken is great
I spent $22 on Pad See Ew with tofu. Very bland. Wrong noodles. And it’s not made with sweet soy sauce. Too expensive for how wrong it is.
Edit: (response to owners comment) You cook like you’re white. Maybe instead of being passive aggressive, you should worry about adding some flavor and sweet soy sauce to your dish.
this place was life changing - i went twice during my weekend in rochester. the coconut curry & red curry with tofu were fantastic. very tasty & large options. they had a vegan dessert special - passionfruit coconut panna cotta but i’m not sure if there’s a vegan dessert available year round. many delicious cocktail options but I opted for the thai tea with coconut milk and it was delicious. don’t skip this place!!! 🇹🇭🥥🥕🧋
I was in Rochester for 3 nights, found Thai pop on 2nd day. Sooooo good I went back on my 3rd night. Green beans and tofu in yum yum sauce was just delicious. The vegan LAAB HET (tofu salad) was fantastic which came with a sticky rice. Had a mocktail spicy marg. Next night I went back for the green beans and tofu again, this time I changed up the main to coconut vegetables with jasmine rice and a coco no loco. Thai pop was such a good find and made my stay in Rochester easy. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-08

It's absolutely beautiful inside and the food is so incredibly good. The prices are more than fair for both quantity and quality. Handsdown favorite place we have visited in a very long time. The Son In Law Eggs and the Bankok Belly Bites were a crowdpleaser. My sister loved her Street Salad with Candied Shrimp for a lighter bite. My husband devoured his Pork Belly and Rice. And I am living for the Tom Kha soup with shrimp. Best I've ever had in the US and the tiny mushrooms made me feel magical and faelike. 10/10 wish I lived across the street.
Stopped at ThaiPop while in town for the Christmas Tournament. Now I'm wondering why we haven't gone sooner. Service, food, and vibe all tops. One of my new Rochester favorites.
Parking: I'm fairly certain there's surface parking and metered street parking, but we are in the ramp associated with our hotel.

This place is awesome. It was so yummy.
Everything was perfect. Meals were served on a plate. It looks like a bowl, but it’s really a plate. Yes, I recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant decor is super cute and the wait staff are so nice. The food quality is a hit or miss to be honest. Sometimes it’s amazing and other times it’s a fail. The food quality and the fact that they are EXTREMELY expensive for Asian street food is why I give them 3 stars tops.
If you haven’t been, give it a try, but keep in mind the menu prices have increased significantly. 2 main dishes, 1 appetizer, and no drinks came out to $70.
