We’ve had several events catered by the VFW Post 1215 - Mess Hall Tavern & Grill, and every single time, they’ve been an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Angie is incredibly communicative, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. She's always quick to respond and ensure that everything is taken care of, which gives us peace of mind knowing we’re in great hands.
The food is consistently fantastic, with a variety of options that are always well-received by our guests. Whether we’re planning a small gathering or a larger event, the quality and taste never disappoint. And let's not forget the amazing customer service!
One of the best parts is being able to focus on the event without worrying about the food or service – we know it will be handled flawlessly every time. They’ve truly made our events a success time and time again, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication and support.
Highly recommend Mess Hall Tavern & Grill for anyone looking to host a gathering or event – they’ll make sure it’s memorable and seamless!
Very open bar! And great prices. Lots of history here. Staff is friendly. Large bar. Gambling available. Back room for events. Overall a great place to stop if visiting or a local. They also have karaoke regularly.
Love the meat raffle and horse racing
Fun bar
Overpriced tiny Philly, not a great experience
I attend a weekly meeting at the VFW and love the setting. Service is great, food is hot and plenty of parking. Also easy to get to off of the highway. Kristin and Cindel are the best!
I was suffering stage 4 cancer and treated at Mayo clinic. Vfw cafe was by hotel. I was in after each surgery and was treated beyond excellence by staff and customers. One customer even brought me in a home made pastry. After my surgeries i was at vfw cafe and with so many vets that i sure as hell couldnt complain about my injuries. Im still fighting but back at my California estate. Thanks to all that were there for me. I cried on a nice ladies shoulder. The clients and staff were my family. I miss the pasta fettucini special. God bless
