Very yummy food but they don’t advertise that their spring rolls have shrimp in them. My mother and I ordered from DoorDash and she has a severe seafood allergy and order the spring rolls because all it said in the description was vegetables. She took a bite and immediately saw the shrimp and spit it out. She still had a reaction but it could have been worse if she had not seen it. They need to put on the description if something has seafood in it since it’s a common allergy. We called to try them and tell them that there was shrimp it in when it didn’t say anything about it. He got defensive and basically said nothing he could do about it the spring rolls here have shrimp and chicken in them. Which would not be an issue if they had just put that in the description. He refused to help us at all and said if we want a refund we have to go through DoorDash. DoorDash didn’t have anything to do with the allergy and they refused to be held reliable/accountable. I love this place it’s my favorite Chinese food spot and has been for years. But after how they treated my mother with an allergy that they put in the food without warning I’m not sure I can go back or recommend them anymore. I was hoping to talk to management about the website so they can fix it and no one else would have to worry about this but he brushed it off

I knew full well that this is a very American Chinese restaurant, furthermore that it was located in the outer burbs, but I still had decent expectations because of previous reviews. Positives: Service was quick, food was hot and ready at pick up. Negatives: I was just disappointed with the food. Spring rolls and egg rolls lacked flavor. The fried rice had a wierd flavor to it. Both entrees were swimming in sauce. General Tsos was Tso-Tso. Sauce was closer to sweet and sour. Chicken was cooked well, but quickly soggy because of so much sauce. Chicken and Chinese vegetables also had mostly sauce. I've definitely had much worse. I just didn't think the food was five (or even four) stars, unlike most of the reviewers here. Maybe I didn't get their best dishes, and there aren't many great Chinese options south of the river...so I'd give it a shot if you're in that area, but not worth a drive.

The food is GREAT! This is the only local place that makes hot and sour soup the right way! We walked in, placed our order, and we were back out in 15 minutes!! We will go back again and again!
Ordered the shrimp fried rice, was the lightest colored “fried” rice I ever received. Not to mention the taste was horrible and the shrimp tasted like they came from a frozen cocktail trail that was microwaved. Same with the rice everything tasted microwaved. I took like three bites trying to like it but ended up throwing away my large order of fried rice.
