“I have been frequenting since 1993. The new management has added a real upscale feel to the decor. The prices are still very affordable for drinking. Kitchen was closed and there seemed to be a general grumbling about dismay with new management but no tangible reason why other than the owner we had all known for dozens of years wasn't there anymore. Ole Piper is still a staple of the community and holds a tradition of providing a one-of a kind dining experience to the neighborhood. I am glad they survived for so long but I am confused about their lack of events/activities like darts, top golf, big game hunter, arcade games, or karaoke that graced these halls in years past.“

“Oh my lert, this was the best places I’ve tried in Eagan. The pancakes were decadent, I seriously wanted to lick my plate clean ? the food was made quickly and it came piping hot to the table. Our waitress was super nice and they even made a special shaped pancake for one of our smaller kiddos. The portions were great and fair for the price! I’d definitely recommend this place, and I’ll be back any time we’re in the area!“

“A small family owned restaurant! We had lunch there today and the pork tenderloin sandwich was the best I've had in a long time (says alot being from Indiana !) the bun was toasted and tons of perfect toppings ( pickles, tomato and onions) Our waitress was a doll and very attentive! Well worth the little trip !“

“I'm not the target demographic for Famfare Kitchen. My husband and I are empty nesters, and the meals are more than we would eat in a single sitting. Famfare produces hot meals for families and distributes them at pickup spots throughout the metro. I WISH they'd been around when I had a house full of kids, but I'm a regular patron of them now. My husband owns a business about a mile from the Kitchen, and every Wednesday, we cater lunch for the office staff. We're not talking subs or pizzas, we have nice meals that bring employees from the field into HQ to get some actual decent food. We found Famfare by accident but quickly realized their meals are an enormous hit with our staff, and as someone who knows their way around a kitchen, I can tell you they know what they're doing. Libby and Jen were kind enough to accommodate our requests to have their meals picked up during the noon hour, and they are piping hot when we get them. The salad dressings are made in-house and are exceptional, and the loaves of bread are fresh and tasty. These aren't just boring meals either...Beef Stroganoff, Grilled chicken pitas with buttery rice pilaf, Thai eggroll bowls, meatloaf...they're all delicious and well crafted. This would be a great gift to give someone who needed help providing meals once a week or a gift to yourself to cover Wednesday dinners. The shop also has a freezer full of soups, breakfast casseroles, and other meals. The meals are packaged thoughtfully and ready for travel, so you need not worry about a mess in the car. Take it home, quick reheat, and an even faster assembly, and you have a delicious meal for the entire family-effortless!“

“I have been a customer for over two years. Health Junkie has been a game changer when it comes to eating healthy. So convenient and great choices. Easy ordering and pick up. Takes the guess work out of what is for dinner. Also appreciate the healthy oats options. Great customer service as well.“

“Laid back environment. There were a couple of families with kids but definitely feel it’s more of an adult place. Great waitstaff. Good drinks. Fantastic food. Generous portions. Lots of side options.Parking: Shares a parking lot with other businesses. Was there on a Sunday at 5pm and had no problem getting a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: The feel is more adult. Bar atmosphere.“

“I just went through here. I've never stopped to eat even though I go through MSP regularly. The self ordering thing is kinda weird. and when i thought i was done, i was waiting for someone to come by with a bill and the guy told me i had to do it by logging into the qrcode link again. I almost walked out of there thinking I had somehow paid because the website was done with me. I'm pretty sure other people left without paying as i was going in because i overheard staff pointing out a group that had just walked out. This self service phone system is garbage and it's all in an effort to cut labour costs and staffing.My food was good, it came quickly, i was in, done and out in under 35 minutes. There was a guy working near me and he was very helpful and friendly. He told me how the place worked (i obviously looked clueless), he brought my food and drinks, checked on me, and told me about the going back in the website to pay when i was obviously done. His help and advice was all unprompted, he understands the job. He is an older black gentleman, maybe 50-60 yrs old? I was there in some time in the afternoon. Anyways, he deserves a raise.I took a quick flip through the low 1 star ratings and i didn't get some of them at all. Those who said nobody greeted them at the entrance...there's a sign saying you can seat yourself although i'll admit the design of the entrance makes it look like someone will take you to a table.“
