The waiter was not the best. We were at the bar area and it was not busy but she was still not attentive to take care of our table. Need to ask for napkins, silverware, Waited 20-25 mins go her to even stop by the table to see if we wanted another drink. Worst service. All in all while filling water and stuff she was on her cell phone texting people. Would never want to go there again.

No gluten free menu even though it specifies to ask about it. The popovers served with the meal were overbaked and crumbled apart. Their food was mid and overpriced for what it was. The Manhattan I ordered was dreadful. This place is advertised as $$ on Google, but we spent Pittsburgh Blue money. Definitely will not be returning.Dietary restrictions: Says on the menu that there is a gluten free menu but when asked for it they said they didn't have one.

Celebrated a birthday with a family group of 7. Service and food quality were excellent! Especially enjoyed my steak and asparagus. Nice feel to the space. Some sports on TV but not an excessive amount of screens. Would definitely recommend.

My friend and I were there for lunch today and very disappointed. The popovers were so overdone we could not eat them, hard, crunchy. We had fish tacos that were very bland, very little fish. Our side salad was good and blue cheese dressing was very good. I doubt that we will return.

went here for valentine’s day and the staff made everything so special! it was my first time dining in and i didn’t know what to expect but our server Wil was excellent! He was so knowledgeable and friendly, even the young lady hosting (i think allison?) was so kind and it made the evening a hit, i will definitely be coming back!
Awesome walleye sandwich. I thought the fried walleye would be heavy. It was light and delicious. Despite the sandwich being big, I ate almost the whole thing and ate it fast. Great ?

i had an excellent experience at Axels! i went the day before valentine's day and they had a special menu out which looked phenomenal. the service was incredible from being sat to service everyone was very friendly. my server Wil was incredibly professional and thorough. Alison at the host stand was very kind even though we arrived a few minutes after our reservation time. the food was excellent and i will be dining here again!

We eat here at least once every other month and always get the lightly breaded walleye. I was sorry to see they took the wild rice off the menu. Also the au gratin potatoes were the best when they had them.
