“I ordered from the Soul Bowl MN for the first time today. The food is delicious. I will certainly order from there again. My most favorite meal is the Salmon Rasta Pasta! My favorite dessert is the Mj Oreo Brownie! Great food! I highly recommend Soul Bowl MN!“

“We hired Brasa Catering for our wedding and couldn't happier with the food and service they provided. We received multiple comments that it was "one of the best wedding meals they've had" from a few guests. Not only was the food delicious, but the crew was extremely kind and went above and beyond for us. Thank you again for everything, we'll keep you in mind for future events!“

“Dressing is sooo good , Mac and cheese too 💯💯😅 made my day today“

“Amazing Food and the staff was very welcoming!“

“We had the catfish nugget dinner with greens and Mac & cheese! Delicious 🔥 the caramel cake was so so good! Tropical fruit kool aid set the whole meal off!!! Our events coordinator reached out via website form to inquire about catering an upcoming event- hoping to hear from you soon to confirm availability.“

“The chicken has potential. Our order took quite awhile and no one was really in there. When we got the chicken tenders they were maybe room temperature so not sure what was going on in the kitchen. If they were hot and fresh I think they would have been really good!“

“I had to come through and check Big L's out while I I'm in town from Detroit. It was well worth it.Catfish dinner and wings and fries were on point!I'll be back.💯💯“

“Both service and food was fantastic!
Ordered the 12 piece mix of chicken, and know that those pieces are HUGE. These aren't the tiny chicken flats you get when you order pizza - this is CHICKEN. Elevate yourself above Popeyes and give this spot a shot - you won't regret it! Get the cornbread, and get the hot sauce - you will have yourself a dinner and you will be fed! Highly recommend, get yourself some good chicken.“

“Some, if not the best smoked bbq ribs, spaghetti, and catfish in Minneapolis. Have been here multiple times and the owner is an absolute class act and the food speaks for itself. I’ve had bbq all across the South and I promise you if this isn’t the best I’ve had north of Tennessee I don’t know what is! Thank you for your service and great food!“

“Delicious!!! So yummy!!!“

“If you’re looking for food that feels like home and service that makes you feel like family, Sota Soul Food is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and full of positive energy. But the real magic is in the food—every dish is packed with flavor, cooked with care, and clearly made from the heart. You can taste the love in every bite. A huge shoutout to the incredible owners, Jamal and Hamida. They go above and beyond to make sure every customer feels valued and appreciated. Their passion for what they do truly shows—not just in the quality of the food, but in the way they treat people. It’s rare to find owners who are this involved, present, and dedicated to creating such a positive experience. The staff is just as amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, they make you feel like you belong there. This is a place you’ll keep coming back to again and again.“
