“Great experience! Surprised to find the restaurant is inside of a grocery store. The gentleman who took my order was super helpful. I ordered the snack meal: Nanny's Soul Roll, chicken wings and fries. It was my first ever Soul Roll (Mac and cheese, greens and chicken inside of a egg roll wrapper) and it was delicious. The wings were small so they gave 3 instead of 2. My friend had the baked macaroni and cheese and she said it was good. We ate inside of the store as shoppers shopped.“
“Great place to eat but it’s a diet destroyer. The food is so good and plentiful you can’t help but over eat. It’s worth it thought and you won’t regret it when your in that food como later on.I had the catfish, collared greens, and grits. I’m a southern guy born and bred. I wouldn’t hesitate to rank Brasa’s food with some of the best I’ve had from back home.“
“This little restaurant was great. It’s located inside the midtown Global market building, along with other food vendors. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Marshall were outstanding. Took care of us really well. We had a lot to eat and recommend just about everything. The pork tips were a bit dry, but their spicy BBQ sauce was on point. Ribs, excellent. Brisket, excellent. We had their million dollar wings and be careful, when they say wings, they give you all the section of wings. They do not scrimp on that so make sure you don’t over order like we did ?! The collard greens were on?point?. The black eyed peas needed something, maybe a touch more salt, but couldn’t put my finger on it. They even brought out their brisket chili for us to taste test. It was delicious. It looks like they have it on special every once in a while so if it’s there the day you go, highly recommend that you try a little bowl. It was good. Just spicy enough and chili flavor came through. Great job guys!“
“Wow, the food was absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow, and not too many people there, but the food was totally worth the wait. We tried the Jerk chicken, the curry chicken, and the rasta pasta. It was all very fresh, and very tasty. The jerk was a little spicy for our 7yo, but we loved it. We will decimated return, or order take out in the future.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rasta pasta was very good.“
“Only 10 reviews!?!?! Just had some sweet potatoes fries and a Jerk Chicken sandwich. By far the best sandwich I've had in a second and even for an airport the price was reasonable. I'll be sure to return next week when I'm in town!“
“I recently had their brunch that was safely delivered, no contact. It was amazing!! Pancakes, eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, chicken, green beans, cabbage, black eyed peas and rice, yams and mac and cheese!! Also they have the best catfish and wings that make you sing! Lavender's desert's keep you coming back. Especially the crusty peach cobbler and 7up pound cake! I need to call and place another order. Getting hungry thinking about it!“

“Ordered Southwest Hospitality Bowl and 2 build-your-own bowls and we were all quite pleased with the quality, flavor, portions, and presentation. 3-4 hefty portions of different food in a bowl gives so much variety in a satisfying meal. Staff were friendly, patient and helpful. I did takeout but the venue houses additional food offerings and has tons of chill seating, TVs, outdoor patio and great downtown views.“
“Tara's Vegan menu is simply amazing! The flavor of all her dishes is perfect. I love them all!! But I think my favorites are her homemade black bean burger and of course the combination of the Fried Cabbage, spicy collards, and quinoa! And portions are such that I usually get multiple meals out of each entre! She is truly gifted!“
“I'm so mad I live all the way in Rogers and have to drive to get this catfish! ? We were visiting George Floyd Square and stopped in for a quick bite to eat, we had no idea the food was going to be this good. The catfish was fried fresh, crispy, not greasy, and soooo good. The candied yams were on point! And the mac 'n cheese had just the right about of kick. Definitely on my list of the Twin Cities best!“
