I can’t recommend this restaurant, unfortunately. I ordered corn tortillas with my meal because I have a gluten intolerance that results in a severe autoimmune reaction including severe joint pain and headaches. I didn’t realize they gave me flour tortillas until I took a bite. I thought they were white corn tortillas. For days or weeks I will be inflamed and in pain.
Love their food-everything we've had has been good. Great, friendly service.

Based on reviews, El Mezcal is a local gem right off the freeway in a rural area. The staff, including servers like Jose and his brother Fernando, provide excellent, fast, and fun service with entertainment like live bands and Mexican fiestas. The Guacamole is very tasty, and the burrito rajas is delicious. The QUESABIRRIA is a favorite, and the STREET TACOS allow for selecting a different meat with each taco. The chorizo is described as the best ever. Margaritas are amazing and delicious. The food comes out quickly and hot, with good flavor. Everything is prepared well. This is a very choice restaurant where the staff prides themselves on authenticity and careful ingredient selections. It is a local family business worth supporting.
