It was so surprising to find an Italian restaurant of this caliber in a (relatively) small town. The food was so good and the presentation was lovely - not something you see often. And the service was really exceptional. They'd do fantastic business in a larger town too, like St. Paul (hint, hint!)
An absolute diamond in the rough! We were down from Rochester to go cycling on the Root River Trail, and stumbled upon this place. We are so glad that we did! Solid wine selection, reasonably priced. Excellent carpaccio appetizer. Pasta was solid! Impeccably clean. Lovely decor in a historic building. Meal was served hot and tasted delicious. My lasagna bolognese was quite flavorful. I asked them to make me an aperol spritzer and they obliged. This meal brought me right back to Europe. The staff and owner were attentive to our needs and caring. The restaurant itself was clean and offers outdoor dining.
