We were traveling and found Plaza Jalisco Mexican Restuarant on Google Maps as we passed by St. James. What a treat! The food was moderately priced and the portions were large. The food was excellent and the service was superb. If you are in the mood for Mexican food and are in the St. James area, this restaurant is one you should go to. Highly recommend!
Plaza Jalisco has always served me well with great food and service. No question, this is where I would take an out of town guest if I wanted them to think well of our town. The prices seem quite stable also, given inflation these days.Parking: The parking is a little unique. It's back-in angled parking. I've never seen it anywhere else but it works fine, and utilizes space and traffic flow nicely. Just be prepared for something new.

Great dining experience! This restaurant is a hidden gem in St. James, MN. My wife and I found it by accident and we were very pleased we decided to go there. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was authentic Mexican. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very substantial. Very highly recommend!
