I visited The Local Blend for a quick lunch during an event at SBC+SJU and ordered my fav item on the menu, the Avocado and Cheese Biscuit with fresh fruit. I also ordered the Fall in a Cup Latte and it was absolutely fabulous. I have been coming to the Local Blend since it was The Meeting Grounds and have always loved the food, service and atmosphere.
Decided to get away from the office for a bit during lunch to see how this place was doing since I knew it when it was "The Meeting Grounds". I remember the food was beginning to deviate from processed to more wholesome, natural ingredients which was good but now it's gone over the edge. When I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich I thought for certain fish was an ingredient; as it turned out after examination, it only consisted of smoked salmon bits (~10% meat).....
We got the snickerdoodle latte and the blackberry frozen lemonade bother were delicious and not governor sweet. For a lil snack we got the garlic and the blackberry cream cheese scone which were both so fresh and tasty.
