It's ok. Big open warehouse and the bartender wasn't personable to us, after being more personable to 2 other costumers. As a matter of fact, the whole vibe changed when my partner and I walked in among the clientele, as well. We're an interracial couple - we got some looks. I was the only black person The Establishment during our time there. Great quality drinks, but not a cozy atmosphere. Not going back.

The atmosphere is phenomenal! They for the most part have live music every day which is great for people who are looking for some entertainment for the night. The drinks are great. Never had a problem with staff and honestly they know my drink of choice at this point. My personal drink of choice is the “folly of dude” the best variation of a White Russian I’ve ever had!! 100% recommend. Great place. Great staff. Come check out this gem in East Saint Paul.

An amazing place with a wonderful environment! Not to mention their handcrafted liquor options! The staff is very friendly/accommodating especially if it's your first time! The live music there just makes it that much better! I was personally helped by a girl named Mary that works there and she definitely made my experience here amazing!

I tried to exchange a drink that I didn’t like and the bartender looked at me like I was crazy and put a small hit of syrup in it. Still couldn’t drink it but I wasn’t going to try to exchange it again for fear of being shamed for not liking something. Will not return.

Located in the former Hamms Brewery. Has the feel of a Speakeasy. Excellent drinks. Very helpful bartender. She was patient with us as we decided on drinks. Highly recommend.

We have been visiting the local distillery tasting rooms, and we decided to try this one. As is typical for distilleries, 11 Wells Spirits is in the middle of an industrial park in St. Paul. They have quite a large array of whiskies: rye, bourbon, a barrel-aged and white whiskey made from a fast growing corn called Minnesota 13, a single malt, and a wheat whiskey. They have a vodka, regular and aged rums, a separate rum called maelstrom, 7 liqueurs of various flavors, and a gin they called Ecgberht of Kent (who was King of England starting in 664 when he was 14 years old....). This is a lot.I always start with a shot of gin, and their gin is quite nice. It has notes of juniper, of course, but also maybe coriander and gentian. It is not "hot" at all, and is a nice London Dry style gin. We had a flight of whiskey: rye, Minnesota 13, and bourbon. They are all very young; of these, the bourbon was the best. However, all need more age.The cocktails were unremarkable. I ordered their version of a Cosmo, which they had cherry in it. Too sweet and completely lacked balance. Not everyone behind the bar has knowledge of their spirits, which is a shame.There is no food. The ambience is definitely "dive bar".All in all, not my favorite of the local distilleries, but perfectly okay.It is located at 704 Minnehaha East in St. Paul. Lots of parking, needless to say.
Fantastic local distillery producing a great line of spirits. Their rotating list of craft cocktails is always fun and tasty.Tours are educational and topped with a liquor tasting of any of their products.

Great Staff! Friendly and flexible, but the owner was rude! We rented for a private party, and the owner felt the need to stay and watch us. Felt very uncomfortable as he was just sitting by the couches, watching our party. We asked the staff about him, and agreed and had our backs. They went over and informed him it was a private party and we felt uncomfortable. He left us alone after that, but at the end, we found him later and thanked him for the venue and hospitality, but he did not acknowledge anything or say anything to us. GREAT STAFF - TERRIBLE OWNER!

We were next door and I’m very happy we decided to check this out too. The unassuming, laid back vibe and nice layout makes for a great place to sip a cocktail. The staff was was very helpful and friendly and the drinks were fantastic. Looking forward to coming back soon!
