Almost all the reviews here mention what a wonderful experience it is to sit down and chat with Carl, and I can second that. It is a much needed community-centric shop with dang good coffee (I had the Rev. MLK Latté). I'm not a person of faith but I felt very comfortable there and will return.
Carl was the best! Talk about a unique mixture of a coffee shop, church, and grocer. This little gem of a spot brings a mixture of culture, community, and Christ. Who can complain about a $3 coffee?Parking: Street parking.
