Went on a Saturday afternoon when I got home there was 2 pieces of chicken in the curry. Tried contacting them twice they never got back. Why anyone would give that to a customer when there closed on Sundays is cheap. Are they saving the food for Monday afternoon. The place sucks

First time trying this place, ordered online to pick up. Food was not very good. Steak sandwich was very tough and chewy, Sambusas were very very dry, fries were soggy, and they didn’t include our baklava, we didn’t check the order til we got home, but we paid for baklava and never got it. Tried to call the restaurant about it and no one answered. Will not be trying this place again.

Large portions of pretty marginal food in a bummer environment. In summer you can access the outdoor seating through the front door (not the busted door, the other one) and enjoy a view of piles of supply boxes from the other unit that they didn't bother to paper over, while you avoid the wasps. The staff were working hard, veggies were fresh, and the salad was good. But the big portions don't help if what you're getting isn't tasty. Sauces didn't have much flavor and were very sweet. Even the pop/soda/coke machine has the mix wrong, all fizz. Overall pretty regrettable meal.
Vegetarian options: Generous portions but the flavors are smothered in sweet sauces. Veggie curry and veggie fantastic were both not good. Fries were fine. The quesadilla another guy ordered looked better and would probably feed 3.

The way they handle vegetarian food with the same gloves that they handle meat with is disgusting. They also don't seem to listen when I asked them to change their gloves when handling my food.

Ordered my food and went to wash my hands. The was a roach crawling up the door, and a few baby roaches dead on the sink. I was so disgusted I immediately cancelled my order and got a refund.
It’s okay. Nothing special to me.

Great food and portions as always, staff is super friendly and service was really quick at lunchtime. Indoor seating is limited, but outdoor patio is great!

I was so excited to be able to purchase 3 tray of Sambusa for a family event. Unfortunately, what a disappointment. Not only were they super dry on the inside and the onion raw, one tray was burnt.
Needless to say I won't be ordering Sambusa again

Looks good, but order is 20 min behind when they said it would be ready to go.
Was really excited to try this place. They give huge portions, which I was not expecting, you can definitely split something. Tried the beef (Somali Steak) with lime and lamb gyro. Wish I had tried the chicken marinated with lemon. The basmati rice was delicious, it was my favorite thing! Fast service after they took our order.

Kid-friendliness: Can’t go wrong with chicken fingers, French fries and fresh fruit.
