Bole Ethiopian Cuisine Reviews
I walked into the Maple Grove location today and from start to finish I was welcomed and taken care of!! The owner explained not only the different choices I could make based on what’s popular and personal preference but also how to enjoy it! First time injera user and now I don’t wanna use a fork again.
Dora Wat was extremely flavorful and fresh.
He let me try their lamb stew and it was a 12/10!!
I also had their Kategna on his recommendation and it was fabulous....read full review
This is my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. The hospitality is unmatchable. Great atmosphere. The Ethiopian coffee is fantastic and comes out with the neatest presentation of incense too. Love the decor and music. And everything on the menu is flavorful and delicious. Thank you for sharing your talents with the public!
I like the authentic food and salads

Bole Ethiopian Cuisine offers a warm and welcoming environment with excellent Ethiopian food and attentive service. Located near Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, it is a great place for a satisfying meal. The restaurant provides a variety of vegetarian options and serves both single portions and platters for groups. Their "Tour of Ethiopia" plate is popular, featuring dishes like "Doro Wat" (Chicken Stew) and "Yebeg Alicha" (Lamb Stew). The portions are generous, and the food is flavorful and often quite spicy, which adds to the experience. The service is slow but consistent with the style of dining, creating a relaxed, leisurely atmosphere. The indoor space is comfortable and well-appointed, but it can get loud. When the weather is nice, the outdoor area is gorgeous. Diners have praised the authentic preparation of dishes like Kitfo with Kocho and Bola special Tibs, noting the fresh and seasoned flavors. The experience is enhanced by the friendly staff and traditional ambiance, making it a memorable visit for both first-timers and regulars.
