Woke up today and reaaaaaly wanted a blueberry bagel, so I open up Postmates to place my order…. I don’t want to be cheap so I also order an egg and cheese sandwich and an orange juice. I wait, so excited for my breakfast…. It finally arrives….. wrong order. The only thing they got right was the orange juice… not to mention everything was loaded with meat and I’m a vegetarian so I couldn’t even indulge in the wrong order I received…I’m disappointed but not upset bc we all make mistakes! But still I am determined to get a blueberry bagel…. The craving is still strong- so I get my refund and start a new order- this time I just want the blueberry bagel- made it simple. Now I’m going on liiiike over an hour of waiting for this bagel….. delivery driver picks it up…. She’s on her way…. I’m so excited for this bagel…. It’ll be the best part of my day…. Food arrives…. WRONG ORDER AGAIN. You’re killin’ me Brueggers bagels… you’re killin’ me.

OK, so the people in the reviews who are talking this place down have no idea what they’re talking about. This is the best bagel in the Twin Cities. The inside isn’t rundown, it’s just moving all the time because of how good the bagels are. They never not have hot coffee on tap ready to go, and it’s clear the people with that experience has came when there were like 40 people there, because it is the best bagel in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
What makes the bagel special or the bubbles on the back of it, and how they toast them to ensure crispiness on the outside and also a great bagel boiled innards.
The owner of this place truly cares about it and has built a team up to scale for their demand because they are the best bagel in the Twin Cities! I’m a regular, I find myself there maybe once or twice or three times a week. This is not like me , but I find myself craving what they make and I’ve always been impressed. You’ll see them hand, make the bagels in the back room from where you stand, ordering, hand, boiling them hand, baking them all by hand.
Anyone who thinks the other top performers in the area like the Saint Paul Bagelry Are high-quality have no idea what they’re talking about and have never experienced a decent New York City bagel.
Highly recommend you check this place, order ahead if you don’t like the line, and personally, I prefer my bagels toasted extra, that way you get the incredible flaky crunch of the yeast bubbles. Also the jalapeño cream cheeses absolute fire.
You’re getting a lot of reviews from Waspy uppity types who live around the area who are Pearl clutching about lines and boxes in the foyer. It’s best that if have problems with it that you stay away too, and leave the best for us.

Guy at register should not be checking customers out in my opinion. Tried to ask if there was any new bagles his answer was whatever over there than i asked him what flavors would go good with the cinnamon raison and he acted like he didn't want to help me. Black long hair maybe do some custome service training foods always good but expect more from grand Ave

First time in this BB and I’m highly disappointed. Made me the worst bagel I’ve ever had. I always order the same in another location and this just made me not even want to go back. Place was dead too.

Edit 10/26 - Be the first thing they make and everything comes out on time! Upped a star.
The people are great and apologetic, my tip to everyone that wants to cater an order at this location: order it to be ready for 30 minutes earlier than you intend to pick-up.
The last few catering orders for 24 sandwiches have been consistently 30 minutes behind schedule. Save yourself the rush and give yourself that half hour back.
Again, lovely people; the staff look like they get along with each other well, and they are friendly with the customers. the system of timing it out just isn't quite right.

Bagels are ok, but every time I get a sugar and cinnamon bagel, it tastes like there's garlic in it. I think they have a bad cross-contamination issue. So if you have allergies to food, you might want to stay clear. It always seems like only one person preping bagels one person running register while two or three hanging or sitting doing nothing even when it is busy. Staff is friendly for the most part. I had to leave on occasions because i would have needed an extra 20 minutes, or I would have been late for work. The store is dated and needs a good cleaning.

Poorly managed location. I placed a simple online order (1 dozen bagels, group coffee box) well in advance of pickup. Was to told “wait” when I showed up even though no customers were in line or even in the store. Waited more than 20 minutes for my order. Store and bathroom were a mess. They seemed to have more than enough employees (5+ people).

I have been going to this shop for years, the last couple times I have gone, I am noticing a pattern, tonality and kindness, I expect a kind greeting and a kind thank you, I got neither. If this is a reflection of your business: No thank you.

Not sure who owns this brueggers but they are phoning it in. It’s dirty and the manager was too busy attending to business, he told me to wait to order. My cinnamon raisin bagel with plain cream cheese came with chives ?!? Apparently no one has the where with all to clean off the knife. I really love a brueggers bagel but someone who cares needs to buy out this location!!!

This is the 4th time I've been to this location, and every time, they forgot cream cheese. I decided to give them another chance after the first 3 times . Got to work just to find cream cheese was missing from both again.

This Bruegger’s is slow, very dirty and poorly managed.
I’ve never been to this location and NOT seen at least 10 people waiting…and waiting. My scheduled pickup orders are never seen by staff until after I arrive. Then I wait 20+ minutes (every. time.)
There’s trash and boxes everywhere. There’s very little seating/tables and the ones that are present are awkwardly placed.
There’s minimal workers and you can tell they need more staff. The manager needs to do better to support their workers and clean up this Bruegger’s. Woof.

REVISED
Courteous and friendly service from everyone. Would be 5 star if not for antiquated and slow point of sale.
After revisiting this location 3 times since my first disappointed review, I am pleased to report a significant improvement in quality. For each of these last 3 visits the bagels have been excellent. I most recently ordered 6 plain bagels to go, and found all of them perfectly proofed and baked. The chew was exactly what I would expect. Well done!
