Absolutely loved this cute little cafe , It has a rustic ambience and a must try is their Crème Brûlée coffee with Almond or Chocolate Croissant , It’s a nice place to catch up and have an early morning coffee.

I am so glad this is not near my house, it is dangerously delicious, this place is amazing, from smoothie bowls to crapes, cofee to pastries, atmosphere is amazing, wether you sit inside or enjoy the beautiful MN weather.
Vegetarian options: They can basically customize the crepes and anything on the menu

This is a nice cafe with good vibes and service. I was expecting the pastries and food to be better but the coffee I got was good. I’m not sure I’d come back here for any food but it’s nice for a drink and chat with a friend.

Sit down and order from phone. Good food and drinks. Great place to hang out for a bit. Clean and cute.
Not a lot of service offered or check ins and you pay when you order so kind of stuck with tip you start with. I think they should have a tip rolled in pricing model to make sure wait staff are taken care of and it isn’t weird for customers with the model they use.

I had an amazing experience at Café Astoria! The latte was absolutely fantastic, with some of the most impressive latte art I've ever seen. The food was equally incredible, perfectly complementing the drinks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. This place truly stands out, and I can't wait to come back!

I can't give a zero star, otherwise I would, zero servers to take your order, the glass for my oj, I'm pretty sure they grabbed from the dirty dishes, they want a tip but nobody helps with your meal..14 dollars for 3 pieces of rubber bacon, greasy eggs and potatoes...never will go to this dump again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. I had the pancake and it was huge and so fluffy. Also I gotta say the best light roast coffee I ever had. I love that I can order via QR code on the table so I’m not in a long line.

Cafe Astoria is a cute spot for breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. You seat yourself, which can be pretty cumbersome during busy times. And the restaurant gets really loud very easily.
It is really unwelcoming that there are no physical menus at the table and no one checks on you- ever. You just fend for yourself.
Because you order online you can’t even have a dialog with someone about the menu and you are forced to start your dining experience off, totally disengaged.
When you place your order, you also have to pay immediately. Therefore, if you wanted to add something to the menu you’re forced to pay many different times or make your decisions once and for all.
We ordered two coffees (Bee sting and nutty professor), Eggplant Shakshuka, and a Manila Mango smoothie bowl. The smoothie bowl came out first then the hot food some 5 min later and finally the coffee (2 min after that). This was totally backwards as we sat there for about 15 minutes waiting on anything.
The total lack of cohesiveness made for an awkward meal experience. My friend sat there with her cold, melting smoothie bowl waiting for me to receive anything.
The silverware caddy didn’t have any spoons, which I felt was necessary for the shakshuka. The table next to us had three different groups come and go and the caddy was never filled up so the guests always had to stop someone and ask for more utensils. There was also a hanging item that wacked everyone in the head the whole time they sat on the bench.
This place has so much potential but I rated it so low because the timing on our food/drinks was really lame. Plus the payment system, online menu, and lack of hospitality. The food and drink alone receive 5 stars but the concept doesn’t work during busy times.
I do think the price is a little too high given the total lack of service and weird pacing.

Cute little café with instagram worthy drinks and food! If you're feeling boujee, get yourself something with gold flakes. They have a small outdoor patio area. The location seems sketchy, but it's St. Paul so can't expect too much. Would definitely go back and try a different drink!
