Hands down the best pizza in the Metro area. Crust is perfect, sauce is wonderful. And it's consistently the same delicious pie, time after time. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great after their remodel. And the prices are beyond reasonable.This is the way pizza used to be, before there was a shop in every strip mall in the world.A+++

I had taken more photos but they're not here I had ordered the antipasto salad there was one slice of salami cut into four and one slice of cheese cut into four on a bed of lettuce but the ingredients were fresh. I also ordered garlic cheese toast which was not toasty at all quite soggy and a milk my friend ordered the p e n n e and a Mr Pibb I asked for it all to be delivered at one time the waitress agreedWell my milk was brought out immediately if you minutes later out came my garlic bread then my salad a few minutes later my friends dinner I did not drink my milk I wanted it with my meal and it was warm by the time I got my meal so all three times when three different people came over to ask how things were my mouth was full of salad and I could not respond and my friend said good needless to say by the end of the night when we paid our bill and we're ready to leave nobody had asked if there was anything wrong with the milk there it's at as we walked out the door I love Carbone Pizza especially there's Pizza sandwich but they do not have a pizza sandwich at the Carbone's we were at kind of disappointing but anyways I'm very disappointed in this one and I will not return second time we've went I held off my first review because it wasn't a very good one either but this is twice now.

I have lived in the neighborhood for years but had never been in before. Got a meatball sandwich and it was fantastic. The cheese. The sauce. The meatballs. The bread. It was all perfect. I have been missing out but I am now definitely going back.

I grew up in Highland park. Been living in FL for 33 yrs. Carbone's on Randolph is our first stop when we come back to the cities to visit!

I love a local pizza place, and this is definitely that. However, the pizza was very average. The main issue I saw with it is that it seems the vegetables are put on the pizza raw, and under thick layer of cheese. The effect of that was undercooked veggies lacking flavor on the pizza. I also felt that the pizza was undercooked in general, only adding to the issue with the veg. I want to love this place, because it's a local spot that's been around forever, but I also want to provide honest feedback to try and help make things better.

Sat down, waited 15 min as 8 employees walked by, not helping me, just look at me as they walk by. There were 8 employees 2of which did nothing the entire time I sat there, well except look at me and not take my order

It's a very nice place with great food. Not gourmet, fire roasted pizza, just solid, delicious flat pizza, along with great supporting cast of foods. Try the Pizza Fries! Staff is pleasant and capable, and this is what neighborhood pizza parlors should be like!

The food is so good. Renovation with seating at bar has been awesome. Service can be hit or miss but usually very good and they turn those pies out fast! Good value.Kid-friendliness: Oh yeah!

I am really disappointed in this Carbone's they say they have delivery but when I call to have a pizza delivered to my home on a Friday night they claim they don't have delivery that it's just some bike squad thing or whatever very disappointed in this Carbone's will never do

Ordered pizza. Said 30 minutes. Showed up 35 minutes later and guy said had not even started it. Then proceeded to say it will be 39.00. Told him to forget it. Offered no discount for forgetting to put pizzas in oven nothing! Go to davanis instead. They may have time for you.

We asked for an extra crispy crust and an order of pizza fries. We got an undercooked pizza and an order of French fries with a container of nacho cheese whiz. This cost us $50. What do you think?
