What a pleasant surprise to visit this fabulous restaurant after many years. The four of us are +/- 2 years of 80 so noise level is very dear to us. It was busy with diners and a wonderful pianist but we all could hear each other without difficulty. We enjoyed Huevos Rancheros and the regular French toast — both were over the top delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Loved the food and atmosphere and not as expensive as most restaurants, especially those down town. I adored the peach and pink roses in the women's bathroom, three vases! I will in the future avoid going there unless the former Excel Center (Grand Casino Arena) is empty for the night. Parking and driving was a nightmare with a hockey game starting at 5:00. I snared the last spot in their lot but I imagine it would have been easy to park there on a non event night. I would...

This was a cozy, warm place with great comfort food. The owners were out and about welcoming us as it was our first time there. Very old school where one is made to feel a part of the family. One funny thing we noticed was that there were lots of tables of just men eating there in groups of 8 -12. Maybe it's men eat out night on Wednesdays in Saint Paul? Great décor with a fireplace. A great place to bring your parents, they will love it.
