Have been coming to this place for many years, incredible atmosphere, weird and super interesting group of customers, as far as service, young crowd is friendly and inexperienced, older long-haired employees are rude and angry.

We made this our morning stop for coffee and a pastry during our visit to St. Paul.

Very busy when I visited, but managed to find a table.

The barista was so nice. They hit me with a big smile when I made it to the counter and humored me when I requested a blended London Fog.

It tasted fantastic!

I was thankful for an hour of free wifi accompanied by the cacophony of the city and a good beverage.

Did a bit of sun-seeking on the back patio, too.

It was very cozy!

Parking: Thankful that they had a parking lot to the side of the building. It filled up quickly but also had a two hour time limit to keep things moving a bit. Very nice!

Unbelievable. Real hometown St Paul. No school like the old school. Been going here damn near 40 years.

Great coffee and espresso type drinks as well as home cooked coffee grounds. Great art on the walls. And excellent pastries. The cream cheese bran muffins are unbelievable.

Super fun awesome. It don't get no better than this.

While they have a great menu and the people working there are nice, they don't have the same menu as the rest of the Dunn Bros locations and they don't use the Dunn Bros rewards app either. One of my favorite drinks to get at Dunn Brothers is the honey matcha tea latte, but I'm unable to get this when I go here.

Five stars for quality beans, roasting technique and always hot, fresh and strong coffee. My hope is one day Dunns will have open mic Friday and Saturday: they used to be open till 10:00pm.
I recommend the chocolate chip scone!

If I could give 100 stars for service I would. Every single person who works there is super duper nice, friendly, helpful and kind! Never once have I experienced or seen anything other than remarkable treatment there.

I am sitting at the Grand Avenue Dunn Brothers right now sipping a fine vanilla latte. I've enjoyed coffee shops all over the world, from Delhi to Salzburg, and certainly Dunn Brothers and others all over Minnesota. Never in my life have I witnessed five servers make every moment count with customers to this level of authenticity and effervescence. Clearly they know many of these patrons well, but even for those like me on my second visit here, are made to feel welcome, appreciated, and enjoyed. Yes, it's always the role for courtesy and kindness in coffee shops and restaurants. But this is at another level. Humor, engagement, even encouragement. All ages of customers here, and they connect with everyone! I literally thanked them before I left. Honestly, these people could do a video on how to connect and bring joy to people's hearts. The BEST ?☀️?
