- As soon as I walked in, I was sat down. Service is splendid.
The boat noodle here is to die for! One of the most savory broths with a mix of vegetables and lime juice , hits the spot every time.
The eggrolls are also a staple here. Simple yet delicious and so crunchy on the outside! All the food came fresh and steaming with delight.
Definitely recommend to all bowl noodle enthusiasts or anyone who wants an authentic taste of the Asian community.

I have always order take out over the last 2-4 years or so I like to order the Thai dish Pad Kra Pao any ways portion for take out use to be pretty good, but haven’t been there for like a year.. finally got take out again after a year always reading about peoples reviews that the portion gotten way smaller for take out and I was skeptical so I call and order my pad kra pao boy was the reviews right never had I ever gotta a very small portion for 16.00 plus change and I even tip 2 dollars in their lil bucket tip. So I paid got my food in a bag of course I felt the lightness and yes very light I was like dang I was like this is very light and unusual well guess what I got home open the food container I laughed like damn this like for a 5 year old lol not a older man like me lols. Rice was so little lols and the pork was little too. It got that one egg too of course which was cool too always poke it and let the yellow yolk drip out Lols. Took like 5 minutes I was done eating of course I was still very hungry after finishing I was tripping cause I feel like it’s a 5 year old portion only Lols. So of course I was piss but I didn’t call them to say fools ya portion for take out use to be bigger now it’s 5 year old portion lols. I just let it go not going back any more for take out if I want some i just gonna go to the one on larpenteur and wheelock next time I had theirs it was good portion hopefully they didn’t make it small too lols. Haven’t been their for a year too Lols. I should have just went to Hmong village that day but I was craving pad kra pao lols. So if u guys or girls order take out here there is a risk of getting very mini portion even if u pay over 16 dollars lols. I won’t order take out from here any more but if u go in to eat maybe it better portion like other reviews say so.. but I got no one to eat with I eat solo that’s y I prefer take out only. Any ways good bye friends cafe you use to be so good with my take out. Peace!

food was good but the place is VERY unsanitary. we asked the server to switch our water out and when she came back with more water there was STILL stuff in it (oil and food). dishes need to be washed better and tables need to be cleaned better.

Rude service,. wrong food. They would not make it right. I do not recommend “Friends Cafe” . Unfortunately there is not a ZERO star review.

Overcooked, bland, slimy, rude staff. The restaurant is dirty, I went in the restroom to wash my hands in the bathroom was even worse.
As we were enjoying our lunch a cockroach began crawling on the wall and almost onto our table making it difficult for us to continue eating our RECENTLY served food. We were not able to finish our food due to the cockroach we told management about it and she proceeded to ring us up full price for food that was not even done due to their pests.
