I used to live in St. Paul for a few years and came back in town for thanksgiving. When arriving to this establishment the bartender immediately greeted me in an unfriendly fashion and questioned my identification authenticity. After a couple of pop quiz questions on where I’m from and my birthdate she could then verify that I was going on 30 years old and telling the truth. When it comes to my friend that visited the bar with me, the bartender was extremely rude and refused to sell alcohol to her because she had SR22 Drivers insurance. After this weird altercation a couple of drunks at the bar took it upon themselves to raise their voice and made sure we exited the establishment. I will never go back and i’m upset I used to talk so highly about this place.

Stopped in on Wednesday afternoon and experienced the worst and most strange customer service of my life. I handed the older lady bartending my license and she took it to another room for a couple minutes. I thought this was weird because I still question what she was doing with my personal information. When she came back out she asked me what my driving restriction was on my license. Even though that is none of her business, I explained the situation. She proceeds to shame me in front of the whole bar for having a driving restriction on my license and was being completely rude. She then tells me she is not going to serve me because of the driving restriction. Naturally, I questioned this due to the fact I had a valid, non expired license and I am almost 28 years old. I then accepted the fact she wasn’t going to serve me and I asked her for my license back. I took my license, and apparently she didn’t like the way I grabbed my license from her because she proceeded to call me a brat. Who does that? At that point I was in shock because I was never once rude to her. My friend and I left the bar after that. Super unprofessional and inappropriate. I highly suggest taking your business anywhere other than there. If the owner is reading this, I suggest you get a better bartender.

explain why I give a valid driver's license to enter, not only did I get the legit third degree, but they take mine and my boyfriend's id into a different room, out of my view. what's that about? then when she hands it back says, " don't be a brat". used to love this bar when I lived here. came to town and wanted to go again. last time. no thanks

Casual fun atmosphere with good background music. Steak sandwich was excellent. Chicken basket and fries also excellent . No table service on the Wednesday evening we visited - had to order from the bar - but good friendly service there. Definitely plan to return soon for another steak sandwich.

Liz is rude and prejudice towards black people. I ask if she willing to take my order, I’ve been waiting for a long time . , she was completely rude and disrespectful . I refuse to feel like I’m unwanted from an establishment because of my race. She’s rude , prejudice and disrespectful. This needs to be addressed

Came here on a Sat at 7pm. Seemed like a decent place to grab a drink and chill. 15 min passed and nobody came to our table but did stop at other tables by us. Brushed this off and went to the bar. The bartender wasn't friendly and didn't want to answer our questions about availability of different drinks/beer. Just pointed to a chalk board of beers, and then they were out of the one I picked. We left without buying anything and went a block down to another bar

Parking: Parking lot across the street. Street parking everywhere around it. Parking structure for united health is 2-3 blocks away.
