A staple on grand ice cream parlor. Wonderful in house made ice cream it is some of the best in the city. Great portions excellent flavors and such a home town feel atmosphere. The smell of their sweet Waffle cones fill the air the moment you hit the door. The strawberry cheese cake is my favorite ? ? so yummy creamy and delicious.
I think the ice cream here is very good - it's classic and made in house, rarely am I disappointed. When I came the other night it wasn't very busy, and I sat outside. I got the chocolate banana and black walnut flavors, which were perfect. The shop feels worn down inside and could use some TLC. I think the staffing lacks the passion typical of people who work at an ice cream shop so I didn't really feel the atmosphere you look for in an awesome ice cream shop....
Amazing flavors, great service, and the prices are reasonable for how much they pile on. A single scoop is plenty for most reasonable appetites. A double is...akin to a pint? It's a lot, not that I'm complaining. I had the black hills gold which was delightful. I also tried several other flavors. All were spot on, you won't be disappointed.
